3-0 out of 5 stars An Improved -But Still Flawed - FIlm
I actually liked "Attack Of The Clones," but it's despite the important plot points included in it's story.

Yes!! "Fist Pump", no more crappy movies, if only he had stopped making them after Return of the Jedi.
1-0 out of 5 stars Why does Obi-Wan Kenobi look like Jesus Christ?
Picking up 10 years later, Anakin Skywalker is no longer an adorable if stoic little kid but now a tall, gangly, jerky young man (Hayden Christensen) with a tendency to whine and bitch about stuff for no apparent reason (takes things way too personally he does). Well, him and his master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) are assigned to protect former queen turned senator Padme (Natalie Portman) after ten years apart from an assassin. This job eventually leads to Obi-Wan being separated from Anakin while he investigates the assassin who happens to be involved with a cloning conspiracy and this later leads him to a renegade Jedi master played by Christopher Lee. Guess what? Anakin still has the hots for Padme and whilst Obi-Wan is away Anakin would like nothing better than to strip her naked and get her in the sack. The future Darth Vader also has a nightmare about his mom's death back on Tatioone and he FINALLY goes to rescue her but by the time he gets there she's already dead so he goes and kills the cannibal Sand People who killed her.

I watched MST3 awhile back ago when it was on Sci-Fi(witch now sucks most of the time)and I fell for it.My mom even agrues it's funny. One day at blockbuster I found this.I rented it,watched it and laughed.I would buy this movie and the series.If...
5-0 out of 5 stars I Was A Young MST3K Fan
I remember back in the early 1990s of a show called Mystery Science Theater 3000. My parents occasionally watched it...but I got hooked at age 9. Strangely enough, the jokes didn't totally whiz over my head and I was able to enjoy Joel (when he was there...mostly reruns), Mike (who I saw mostly), Servo, and Crow. Now I never got so see the movie in theaters (due to young age and I didn't even know there was a movie until I saw a commercial for the VHS!). Once it was on TV I watched, I laughed, I even recorded onto a VHS myself and viewed at leisure. Now, I'm 21 and am hoping to get the DVDs so I can enjoy like I used to (with more understanding to the jokes...and I see this price tag for USED copies of the movie on DVD. I understand it's out of print, but I think it's best to shop around.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nanu, Nanu.
When I was younger, my parents would watch MST3000 a lot (back when it was still on Sci-Fi). I didn't understand the movie humor, but I liked looking at the goofy monsters and I thought the robots were pretty funny.

4-0 out of 5 stars Star Wars, Episode 1, Phantom Menace.Review by: Adam Platts
Star Wars Episode I, The Phantom Menace, easily qualifies as one of the best science fiction movies of recent years. While I would give each movie in the original trilogy 5 stars, I could only give this one 4 stars because of its "moments" of bad acting and weak story line.Imagine how great this movie would have been if it had been combined with Episode 2, saving only the best from each, and trimming away the dull parts.Ideally we would have seen Anakin quickly growing up in one movie, being trained in the ways of the Jedi.Instead we got stuck with a little kid throughout the whole movie, and worse - Jar Jar Binks.Overall, though, I'm just glad that the Star Wars movies returned to the big screen.
4-0 out of 5 stars episode I : The Phantom Menace
I think people are being way too hard on this film. The main reason people don'tlike it is because they were expecting Lucas to just remake the original trilogy. What people do not understand is that this is an entirely differnt galaxy that we are in. The entire galaxy has been changed as e enter episode IV. People don't understand that it's a differnt age.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Instant Classic
Star wars A new hope was orginally released in 1977....Later on they released this movie again in 1997 as "Star Wars-Special Edition" together with the other trilogy films.
5-0 out of 5 stars You're My Only Hope.
The first original Star Wars AKA Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope is held close to my heart. It is the first Star Wars I have ever seen and is probably my second favorite out of the entire saga. This is one of the only Star Wars that is just plain fun and exciting all the time. The film has interesting characters, great dialogue, and humor. The storyline is original and keeps you hooked through it's entire run time. The direction is fantastic. The film had much trouble during the shooting, but Lucas spent months perfecting it. He pushed it's Christmas release of 76" to the summer of 77". The special effects are great and the creatures look creepy and absolutely hilarious at other times. The acting is rather good. At it's relaese date everyone in the film, besides Alec Guiness, was a newcomer. Everyone really did well in developing and representing their character. Guiness' portral of Obi-Wan Kenobi is probably my favorite performance followed by Hamill's Luke. The score is just beautiful. It gives every scene a new depth. The opening title and summary of the film is classic. The original Star Wars is a great film that will live on for generations.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best of the bunch, a classic movie with heart and soul
The pinacle of the slowly careening Star Wars empire.A movie
5-0 out of 5 stars Do or do not. There is no try.
And this movie did..it's the best Star Wars movie ever!Simple as that.It starts off where Episode IV left off, when Darth Vader is trying to find the Rebels.. I won't give away any more of it in case there are actually people who haven't seen it (you poor deprived people), but it gets better and better. It's the most exciting of all of them, and I remember being very surprised at the end, when a huge secret is uncovered. All in all, better lightsaber fight, better dialogue, and a better story then the original Star Wars, and way more exciting and emotional...you actually get to realize that these characters are not stereotypes, however much they may seem like it in the first movie. It brings you in depth personality traits of each character, even the evil Darth Vader, one of the first villians to have an actual personality. It also introduces you to several new characters (Yoda!!), who are just as interesting as the originals, and it lets you know that there are politics behind the evil Galactic Empire, with the first introduction to the dreaded Emperor himself.

2-0 out of 5 stars Big Whoop.
Wow, an outerspace shootemup with guys in rubber masks, cartoons, and puppets. And space battles with little plastic space ships.Lazor gunz, humming fire swords, evil robot king, riding claymation kangaroos through a snowstorm.Oh, and a romance plot that's pure velveeta.Plus a guy makes out with his sister.Fascinating film you have here. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Titanium Ranger is who?!?!?!?!?
This is a pretty good movie, adding to the chalked up points of the Lightspeed series. The beginning of the movie shows Carter trying out the new Titanium Ranger morpher, but the circuitry is too extreme and powerful for a normal human*. Soon after, Dana and Captain Mitchell celebrate the 20th birthday of their brother and son respectively. That night, the Titanium morpher is stolen by a secret agent of Diabolico's, who seems to feel something for the two Mitchells. The next day, the Rangers are introduced to the evil Titanium Ranger, who kicks their multicoloured butts. Although soon, they beat the evil Ranger with the help of new weapons called V-Lancers. Before they can destroy the Titanium Ranger, Captain Mitchell calls them off, recognising the eyes that are inadvertently shown during the fight. When the Rangers get back to the Aquabase, they demand to know why he called them off. The next part will shock you, so buy the movie!5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous
This recent PR reincarnation is superb, in any way I can name it. It practically contains NO (I repeat NO) cheesy plot lines and plot holes, because of the original plotline--Ryan, the new Titanium Ranger (takes off his shirt many times--female viewers will appreciate the eye candy he provides) is cursed with a cobra tattoo which crawls closer to his neck every time he morphs. Once it gets close enough, it will destroy him.5-0 out of 5 stars From a mom's point of view
Of all the power rangers episodes I've seen, the writing of this video is one of the best. The mysterious appearance of an evil ranger turns out to be the long lost brother of the Pink Ranger, and their father runs the Power Ranger operation! Please ignore the fact that although the monsters recently escaped their prison, somehow they got a hold of Ryan (the Titanium Ranger) some 15 years ago. Think to deeply and you'll ruin the fun. These shows remind me of the hokiness of Ultraman(if you're under 30 - don't ask)with the morality of the Brady Bunch. These guys just kick more butt. Definately a keeper. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars It's Morphing Time(Mastedon)
This video faetures two episodes from mmpr(way better than the wacky one's now) about the black ranger. The first episode is about when the rangers plan a surprise party for his birthday and then they have to face a new monster of Rita's named The Nasty Knight. The second episode is about when Lord Zedd casts a spell on these glasses that Zack and the blue ranger Billy have worn to take a test. Now they are seeing the other rangers as putties plus they have to fight a new monster that Zedd has created.

4-0 out of 5 stars Power to the Black Ranger
This is great for lovers of the best, and original power rangers. When the Black Ranger was Black and the Yellow Ranger was asian. Unlike the power rangers nowadays, the ones in this video dont need stunt doubles, They can actualy fight. Jason and Zack really beat down the putties with some fighting skills. The secound episode of this tape had some good action. Get this tape for some action with the REAL power rangers. Holla!

4-0 out of 5 stars Power Rangers: Black Ranger Adventure
If you like the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers you will enjoy this video. The original rangers are very entertaining and have a sense of fun that doesn't seem as 'commercial' as they do now.Just remember when youare watching that you aren't there for the great acting, an engrossingstory-line, or realistic special effects. It is entertainment aimed at thevery young. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars this movie is very funny, you'll blow a fuse watching it
this movie is awesome. I first seen it in 1987 in summer school. that Indian guy makes me want to laugh, not to make fun of him, but because he sounds humorous and cheerful. there is a running gag in this movie and it is when Number (Johnny) 5 throws the seat out of the truck and drives off-twice. it seems funny that nobody believes that he is "alive". there is a suspense-builder in the movie and that is when Number 5 is supposedly blown up, but in reality, it is just a copycat of himself that he built. there is some cussing in it, but not every 5 minutes like some so-called PG-13 movies. an excellent movie for family viewing, provided that they don't blow a fuse from laughing so hard.

3-0 out of 5 stars Five Alive
What would you do if your $11 million killer robot suffered a serious power surge, escaped, and now, rather than blowing up tanks and troops and stuff, was out chasing butterflies and convincing animal loving Ally Sheedy that a) he's not a martian, and b) he's alive? Why, you'd send out the military/goon types to bring him back so you could disassemble him and find out what went wrong.Right?
4-0 out of 5 stars Number 5 is alive!
I remember our class winning a trip to see this movie when I was in elementary school and of course, we all loved it then. And now, many many years later, I still do love Short Circuit. The movie focuses on a company called NOVA that has constructed these new robots (which, surprisingly, don't look that out-of-date) but when a power surge hits while they are charging up, the robot called Number 5 comes alive and so the adventure begins. As he seeks for "input" he meets Stephanie (Ally Sheedy) a kind-hearted animal-loving woman who drives a lunch truck for a living. But when Stephanie discovers that Number 5 is alive, she does everything she can to protect him from the guys at NOVA who just want to disassemble him. Great fun for a low-key night at home, you'll love Short Circuit. Kids will too, but there are some profanities in there so parents, please use your discretion. Enjoy! ... Read more

Mel Brooks's 1987 parody of the Star Wars trilogy is a jumble of jokes rather than a comic feature, and, predictably, some of those jokes work better than others. The cast, including Brooks in two roles, more or less mimics the principal characters from George Lucas's famous story line, and the director certainly gets a boost from new allies (Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I could write a better plot in one hour !
T3 is not meant to be this crap. It should be better than the last 2 not worse. The plot is brainless and does not explain anything except "Cripky's Basement" which means nothing to me or any other viewer. Arnie's acting was weak and so was everyone elses on this movie. Why create a blend Terminator with inter-metal-skeleton and liquid metal on the outside ? More types of Terminators do not have to be created to make a good sequel. How about a new plot or maybe just a plot to start with.
1-0 out of 5 stars this franchise has been terminated
The sequel that should have never been. This movie lacks everything that James Cameron put into Terminator 2....plot development, charachter development, and somethign that makes you actually give a damn about the charachters. Both Furlong and Hamilton refused the parts unles Cameron directed it which was a very wise move.
5-0 out of 5 stars A spectacular movie, but the end is incomplete
This film is basically a repetition of "Terminator 2". Two terminators fight over the protection or destruction of John Conner. Only, this time one of the terminators is a female (terminatrix). I perfectly enjoyed the terminatrix character, because she is very sexy. Also, I noticed some similarity to the nuclear threat from the "War Games" movie.

4-0 out of 5 stars If You're A Fan Of Power Rangers, This Tape Is Worth Your $!
For a show intended for kids, this was really quite good. If you can suspend your disbelief and refrain from being too critical, this tape has some really neat effects, cool acrobatic martial arts sequences, and some interesting looking characters and weapons. You get a full 90 minutes on this tape, so depending on whether you enjoy the Power Rangers or not, that can be either good or bad.But if you've got a kid in the family or you're just a kid at heart and into light-fare sci-fi martial arts action, this tape is a pretty great buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Enough of the Power Rangers already, Saban!
Damn it! I just came from dissing the new Lightspeed Rescue jobholders and now I have to do the same thing to THESE clowns? The Magna Defender was theonly reason to watch Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, which in my opinion wasvery different from the previous follow-ups. Believe it or not, where thefirst three reincarnations had teens not yet graduated from college(remember "Angel Grove"?), this one and the seriouslyreincarnated Lightspeed Rescue puts these former superstars in a whole newrole. Here, they work for their masters, and most recently, they even havejobs, but who cares? Can you imagine the ridiculous craze that stormed theworld years ago? Make it stop once and for all!

4-0 out of 5 stars THE NEW MEMBER TO THE POWER TEAM!

I agree with other reviewers that all the supposedly deep and thought-provoking issues presented in this film (will machines ever think and become self-aware? Will they have emotion? Should they then be considered living beings and have the same rights as humans?) have been done before -- with the character Data on Star Trek, as one of many examples. There is nothing new in this movie.
