Stunning - Should be Recommended Viewing
One of the most powerfully articulate and moving documentaries I have ever seen. It is a wonderful piece of film-making which manages to educate and stimulate the viewer ideas and perceptions at the same time. I really feel this film should be part of every High School student's manadatory social studies curriculum.

Great Video
I really enjoyed this video. It discusses whether or not human released greenhouse gases are responsible for global warming. The views of the skeptics and people who believe greenhouse gases warm the earth are presented. After watching the film you will wonder why anyone would actually be skeptical of man induced global warming. It presents a great deal of scientific evidence that not only has the earth been warming since the industrial revolution, but it is because of carbon dioxide released in the air from the burning of fossil fuels. It also discusses the problem of developing countries and how regulation of fossil fuel burning will affect them. This video is a must for anyone who is not sure what to believe and for anyone who wants to show their conservative friends that the current administration's view of global warming is irresponsible and idiotic. ... A documentary about contemporary Muslims
I'm a doctoral student in religion and am teaching an undergraduate introduction to religion,focusing on Buddhism and Islam. In preparing for this course, I watched lots of videos on Islam, both to expand my own knowledge of Islam and also to find good clips to show in class. This is one of the videos that I found most useful for both purposes.
Very Good
This is a good all around Dvd that shows Muslims all around the globe. My favorite part is where the black woman in the U.S. takes shahada and converts from being an alcohol drinking, late night clubbing, sick woman to a Muslim. There is something about a woman that covers her hair and body that makes here a more decent human being. We in America are lost. That is the majority of us. I used to be a lost soul until I found this great religion. It has the guidance that every human being can follow and be morally successful. No other religion including Christianity has the power to straighten an individual out like Islam. It is the answer to the problems, not a cause of them. It is being attacked, for the devil truth and will do anything to stop it from being heard. The devil prefers Christianity, where you can smoke crack, have unregulated sex, and drink alcohol and its ok because Jesus died for your sins. To find the truth in life takes deep thinking. Take a closer look at yourself and at the world around you and you will understand why people are coming in droves to the way of life called ISLAM.

One interesting fact, and more than one shot of Ted Koppel
Although this 22 minute Nightline broadcast doesn't have that much to offer, you'd still think ABC would rebroadcast it if only in the hopes of combatting the "let's bomb those towelheads" idiocy that's no doubt sprung up in some sectors. The general sentiment, of course, is that Muslims are everywhere and that 99.9% of them aren't evil. If you make any attempt at all to be responsibly informed, this video won't change your life, although you might find the bits about the predominance of muslims in Iowa interesting. I did. Government incompetence at its worst...
A great documentary that everyone should see. It is amazing how much information this man pieces together and how the FBI ignores such an imminent threat. John O'Neill later takes a job as head of security in the WTC and unfortunately loses his life in the disaster. A profound indictment against the functionality of the FBI
This video does an excellent job mapping out how personal feelings and power politics can intentionally and unintentionally limit the effectiveness of the FBI. While only part of the story behind the US intelligence community's failure to clearly foresee and prevent the 9/11 attacks, this story will have viewers shaking their heads with disgust and awe at how dysfunctional, jealous and ego-driven the upper levels of our government agencies can be.The irony of the ending and the sense of what could have been will trouble you and make you wonder if any substantive changes have been made in the FBI since 9/11. ... This four-hour documentary should be a must for every educator from high school through a Master's program. A true documentary
In this video the makers try to shed some light on the gulf war. Not only based on the CNN footage that we have all seen so many times, but on information gathered from all other sources, like the BBC, home-videos andpersonal interviews. This makes the documentary a well-balanced one, thatcompelled and inpacted me more, than any other documentary on the gulf wardid.

Not the finest 20 minutes from Nightline
An avid Lucille Ball fan, I have been trying to add every video I can to my collection.Since there is not alot in the biographical area of the great comdian, I purchased this video in hopes of learning more about thegreat queen of comedy.This episode of Nightline is hosted by JeffGreenfield, not Ted Koppel.After the first 5 to 10 minutes of clips(mostly from "I Love Lucy"), the program tells little about Lucy,her life or her death.The guests are Sid Ceasar and Jerry Lewis.Neitherare very touching.The questions asked by Jeff Greenfield are lame.Thisis not a tribute to Lucy, it's not even a decent piece of reporting by theABC News team.Were it not for one comment from Jerry Lewis and the factit is about Lucy, I would have only given it one star.Spend your money onanother selection. ...
