4-0 out of 5 stars SEX GAMES
I love this movie for the blindfold scene in front of the fridge, it is a classic scene very erotic, but for me the movie is a bit slow but nothing that KIM BASINGER can't change, watch her striptease. The soundtrack is awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

4-0 out of 5 stars Stormy And Love
9 1/2 weeks, as a frank depiction of the dynamics of sexual power, is a thought-provoking exploration of these aspects of eros. This film reveals the anatomy of a stormy and obsessive love affair between a recently divorced art dealer who is quite repressed and a rich, emotionally chilly stockbroker. The film is distinctive visual and aural textures by the artful direction of Adrian Lyne. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars For those too shy to buy hardcore pornography
Zalman King makes "erotic" movies, by which I mean he has relatively good-looking white people groping at each other and fancy angles that don't show any of the good stuff. This softcore porn is the sort of crud they broadcast on cheap cable networks. Usually they star Shannon Tweed or other C-list actresses who were hot-lookin' in their 20s and aged badly but still need work. The films are often labeled "erotic thrillers" because there is a pretense of mystery or danger. They are made for paunchy, aging, balding white men who can't get a date and lack the gonads to go to the hardcore porno shop and get some decent material for their Onanism sessions. Poor suckaz.
4-0 out of 5 stars Two Moon Junction - Guilty-Pleasure List Worthy
This one is on my guilty-pleasure list. It's a soft-core romance/drama, 1988, starring Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks fame) and Richard Tyson (the dad in Kindergarten cop). Sherilyn plays a southern belle from a wealthy family, engaged to Martin Hewitt - hmm, I'm remembering him with Brooke Shields in Endless Love with the same-named theme song - the approved rich boy. She winds up having a torrid fling with Richard and ultimately has to choose between what is right for her heart, or maybe just loins, and what her family has endorsed. Her grandmother is played by Louise Fletcher (an older, sophisticated and very platinum Nurse Ratchet from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest!). Burl Ives is the Sheriff assigned to break up the lovers. Kristy McNichol is all grown up and makes an appearance vying for Richard's attention too.

4-0 out of 5 stars Campy Fun
From the retrospective included on the disc you get the impression that star Angie Dickinson thought she was making high art.I'm not so sure Roger Corman thought so.The film seems to have a split personality.Stars Dickinson, Tom Skerritt, and William Shatner play their characters pretty straight to the vest. The script, however, suggests a parody of "Bonnie and Clyde" with alot of comic violence and gunplay and humorously gratuitous nudity.I did enjoy the contributions of the young actresses playing Dickinson's daughters, Susan Sennett and Robbie Lee.I purchased this film expecting some trashy fun and it did deliver the goods.

4-0 out of 5 stars Prosperity was just around the corner...at the nearest bank!
Big business can make for strange bedfellows as is the case here, with the recently re-released film Big Bad Mama (1974).Seems not too long ago The Walt Disney Corporation, through their Buena Vista Home Entertainment group, acquired the rights to release onto DVD some 400 Roger Corman films, including this one...if you're not familiar with Roger Corman, he probably the single, largest producer of low-budget exploitation films in the last 50 years, features someone generally wouldn't associate with the Walt Disney image.Produced by Corman, co-written by William W. Norton (White Lightning, I Dismember Mama) and Frances Doel (Deathsport, DinoCroc), and directed by Steve Carver (Lone Wolf McQuade), the film stars Angie Dickinson, who first made an impression on me as Sgt. Suzanne "Pepper" Anderson in the mid to late 1970s television series "Police Woman".Also appearing is William `The Shat' Shatner ("Star Trek", Kingdom of the Spiders), Tom Skerritt (MASH, Alien), Susan Sennett (The Candy Snatchers), Robbie Lee (Switchblade Sisters), Noble Willingham (The Last Picture Show), Dick Miller (X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes), Tom Signorelli (The Cotton Club), Royal Dano (Killer Klowns from Outer Space), William O'Connell (Every Which Way But Loose), and Joan Prather, whom some may remember from the television series "Eight Is Enough", as Janet McArthur Bradford.
3-0 out of 5 stars A message to 'A viewer'
I feel like a fraud, because I have not recently seen this film.I just wanted to let 'a viewer' in Stockton know that I knew Robbie Lee [actress playing Polly] in 1972.I was almost 13 and in 7th grade, and she was just out of high school. So I would guess she was close to 20 [give or take a year] when this film was made. ... Now I've heard it all, all these complaints about plot (or lack thereof) in a softcore vampire film.Get your priorities straight. There are many pleasures to be found in this film, not the least of which is Ms. Milano, igniting countless fires.Hail to brunettes!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Very Hot and Erotic Thriller
Alyssa Milano stars in this movie about vampire seduction and erotic romance.Milano stars as Charlotte Wells, a sensuous but innocent college freshman. She is being seduced by an obsessive lover which only comes to her in her dreams. The lover is a vampire, played by Martin Kemp.He has been waging his own battle for survival, and his time is about to run out.He has only three days to find a virgin and draw the lifeblood from her in order to survive.Otherwise, he will cease to exist.

You either love Russ Meyer's garishly sexist movies about bodacious babes and priapic men or you find them utterly disgusting. The response to his work is that clear-cut. This film, which features a screenplay by critic Roger Ebert, barely qualifies as a sequel to the film based on Jacqueline Susann's trashy bestseller. Rather, it's a broad, trashy remake on its own terms about what happens to a trio of female rock musicians when they leave the Midwest and head for Hollywood. Sex, drugs, murder--the only thing it doesn't have is cannibalism, the gold standard when it comes to trashy entertainment. Read more

I saw this film a year after its release and I thought it was one of the worst films that I had seen in my life. Jane Fonda's memorable, zero-gravity striptease during the opening credits of this 1968 Roger Vadim movie is the closest the film comes to a liberated marriage of wit and sex. Based on a French comic strip, the story concerns the adventures of a 41st-century woman, who pretty much gets it on with whomever asks. The sci-fi sets were pretty interesting at the time, though they look rather anachronistic now. Appreciated today mostly as a camp classic, the movie is actually more trying than anything else. 5-0 out of 5 stars Barbarella's influence on pop-culture...!
OK, we all know that Duran Duran got their name from the evil doctor in Barbarella, but Barbarella's influence on pop-culture extends far beyond that!
2-0 out of 5 stars Big disappointment...
Jane Fonda was not only an excellent actress but a beautiful, if opinonated (remember Hanoi Jane?), woman.I watched this as a teenager and despite the "striptease" this has to be one of her worst.Hormones be damned, watching this was a waste of time.If you like Fonda, try Klute. She was an excellent actress --- but no one could survive this mess.

2-0 out of 5 stars "Stupid and boring"
I purchased this movie because I always thought Jane Fonda was very sexy. I still believe that but this movie sucked. It was corny and everything from Barbarella's carpeted space ship to the costumes made me think "low budget".

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest camp classics ever.
"The Lonely Lady" is that type of terribly misguided attempt at serious drama that ended up being a trashy soap opera. It's about as campy as it gets, and if you like that kind of movies, you will most likely love "The Lonely Lady". Pia Zadora is cute and innocent as always. She has often been ridiculed for her supposed lack of talent, but she has a certain charm and I doubt that many actresses could play this part, with all of it's cheesy dialogue, in a very believable way. She and the rest of the cast try their best, but because of the material they have to work with, they all end up laughable, just the way you like it when watching a campy movie like this.
5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST Bad Movie EVER from Harold Robbins (and Pia!)
This one ranks among the Top 10 Best Bad Movies of All Time in my new book, THE OFFICIAL RAZZIE MOVIE GUIDE 5-0 out of 5 stars THE CROWD PLEASER
What a bad bad movie THE LONELY LADY is.Yet this Harold Robbins adaptation deserves all the stops. The story centers around a busty blonde played by the legendary (yes, legendary) Pia Zadora, who wants to make it in Hollywood as a screenwriter. Her path to there is a no holds barred, sexually charged, unintentionally funny, so bad it's so good, jaw dropping extravaganza you'll be glad to witness.Zadora literally throws herself in the main title role. One can even glimpse at a talented actress behind her many over-the-top fits.As for the script, well, there isn't any--just a sew-on take of its star in different states of undress who, in between stages, delivers such howlers as "if I write for anyone, Vinny, I write for ME!".The powers that be at Universal who, needless to say, have the rights to this gem, should really swallow their pride and release it on DVD (with outtakes and commentaries, of course). Can't they see they have a definite camp classic in their hands ?-----Martin Boucher ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Wow forgot how awful this film was
What a disgusting stupid movie. I saw this when i was just a kid. and news flash drew barrymore doesnt look like that anymore. Not trying to be rude, but what the hell is wrong with that girls chin? It grew over the years, because she looked fine in bad girls this movie, and i think boys on the side, but movies like never been kissed, and at the end of charlie's angels full throttle, all you can see when you look at her face is that huge white chin, like a jay leno chin. reminds me of the moon man from mcdonalds... with the huge chin that sticks way out. it's a cruel fact of what time does to our looks, when you get older you arent as pretty as you use to be, but i never thought chins grew bigger, in her early years her chin was of normal size now it looks huge and deformed. AS for this movie, not sexy at all, unless you find a backstabbing, murdering, lying, crazy ass teenage girl ..... sexy? Maybe men would like it, because all it has is sex scenes. only for shallow people who get excited when it comes to "that fantasy" of a much older man having sex with a teenage girl, and he's old enough to be her father. I dont find it sexy at all, it just wasn't believable in any way shape or form. A complete waste of time, money, and talent. Flat out garbage. thumbs down. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Disgustingly true
There's more or less (strong emphasis on the word `less') a plot for the 1964 sleaze/exploitation film OLGA'S GIRL.Olga (Audrey Campbell) is the proprietress of a stable of girls. As the movie begins we learn Olga is setting up a new syndicate in New York City, a syndicate that will service the city's appetite for narcotics and vice.Campbell played Olga in two previous movies, `Olga's House of Shame' and `White Slaves of Chinatown,' titles a little more descriptive of the contents, perhaps. They're all directed by Joseph Mawra, who would also direct movies with such provocative titles as `The Peek Snatchers' and `All Men Are Apes.'Anyway, a `white slaver' brings fresh flesh to Olga's pad, the slaver and Olga haggle a bit and eventually the flesh become Olga's girls. Most of the film shows the girls at work - funneling suspicious looking white powder in capsules, for instance - and play - the twist seemed popular at the time, and the girls throw a lot of parties.
5-0 out of 5 stars Olga's Girls Is the Most Thought-Provoking Thing I have Seen
I am not sure what it is about this movie that makes it so exciting and thought provoking, and I have probably seen it about FIFTY TIMES! Maybe its the lesbian scenes in the most unexpected settings (a Swiss Alps ski lodge, the bathrooms at a London underground station)...Or maybe its the near unintelligible dialogue of the (mainly Swedish) actresses....Or maybe its the just the incredible acting by "Olga" herself.... ... Editorial Review

A butt-kicking quartet of female ninja assassins are hired by aruthless magistrate to silence his past conquests. Three former courtesanscould ruin his chaste reputation and discredit his bid for political glory, so he puts a contract out on them. A hearty hedonist who despises thesanctimonious hypocrite sends his own supernaturally powered thugs tocapture the women, and they battle in an erotic series of superhero skirmishesthat mix martial arts and magic spells, where the sexy ninja warriorsrepeatedly sacrifice their clothes for the greater glory of duty. They meet their equal in a feisty blonde Mata Hari who creates Japan's first bluemovie when she displays the magistrate's sexual shenanigans across the skylike a heavenly drive-in film. The film straddles the line between spirited spoof and misguided action adventure, which the tongue-in-cheek Englishdubbing ably undercuts with painful puns and innuendo, but it never losesits outrageous sense of low-budget spectacle. Full of audacious violenceand gratuitous nudity and logic-bending twists, it's wacky and weird andnearly incomprehensible, but it's never dull. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A fun romp
Now, this is a real anomaly:Mae West starring in a film based on a successful play she wrote back in 1926.So theoretically, this film could have been made into a silent movie, and here it is, turning up over 50 years later in 1978.And even in these more enlightened times, they didn't use the original title of Sex, calling it Sextette instead (although the opening credits put the first three letters into slight relief for those who might otherwise have missed it).
1-0 out of 5 stars Don't go West, young man
Mae West became a sex symbol not because of the way she looked but because of the way she spoke. Her unique delivery coupled with memorable, highly quotable double entendres ("Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?") were the highlights of her early-'30s movies. In SEXTETTE (1978), her final film, a fossilized, eighty-something Mae delivers the same kind of dialogue that made her famous way back when, and the result is a textbook example of how not to grow old gracefully.
4-0 out of 5 stars "How many honeymoons have you had?"
Mae West was in her mid 80s when she made "Sextette"--a musical based on one of her many plays. Mae West--one of the greatest sex symbols in the history of cinema--plays famous actress Marlo Manners. When the film begins Marlo is in London to marry Lord Barrington (Timothy Dalton) who will be her sixth husband. After the ceremony, the lovebirds are ushered to their posh hotel for the honeymoon, and Marlo's sneaky manager Dan Turner (Dom de Luise) makes all the final arrangements in the honeymoon suite. He fusses over the flowers and the huge ostentatious bed flown in from Hollywood for the famous coupling.
