Hilarious
I've seen and heard this act many times and it still cracks me up everytime. Dennis Leary is great!

Seriously dated
This was good at one point, about a decade ago, but alot happens in a decade. First half he's got a little too much coke-laced hyperactivity going on, second gets better.

This is so freakin hilarious!
I don't have this on VHS or DVD but my boyfriend sent me the CD and I'm addicted to it! I've listened to it every day since I've gotten it and have laughed hysterically each time! (its a shame its cut short unlike the dvd/video). I did see this one time on HBO and thought it was awesome. I never really thought Dennis Leary was that funny, but ever since seeing this comedy special I've thought differently! Both he and George Carlin are my top two favorite stand-up comedians. a must see for microbiology class
I showed this video to my Pathogenic Microbiology class for second year Medical Laboratory Technician students.As college students they were amazed at how quickly the disease spread and how devastating it's consequences were.They were amazed at how prevalent it is among students like themselves.They all planned to find out more about the available vaccine.I will definitelyuse it again when I teach Principles of Microbiology in the fall semester to other Allied Health and Nursing students. ... Very honest, educational video
I am a health teacher and I show this video in my health class every semester. While made in 1992, most of the information is very accurate. It's a blast from the past for me, but many of my students don't know the people who do cameo's in it. That doesn't make the information any less relevant. The facts haven't changed in the last decade.
Please read this statement before purchasing...
Although I have not seen this video yet, I cannot stress the importance enough for sexually active people to buy this video. During a time when HIV and STD's are on the rising increase at an alarming rate, people at risk need vital information that can save lives... All I can mention to everybody out there is that if you put yourself in risky sexual situations without being aware of what's happening and you don't protect yourself correctly and consistently everytime with LATEX condoms, you might come to regret the choices that you have made...I highly recommend this video to anyone at risk for catching or passing the HIV virus to others...I hope this information will help save some lives. Together we can all put this disease behind us if we become educated about the facts. But my bottom line is call 1-800-342-AIDS if you have any questions. They answer anonymously and can refer you to confidential testing sites and counselors in your area. Some of us grumble about genetic predisposition to hair loss, weight gain, or allergies, but imagine having a hereditary defect--say, a molecule missing from a cell--that seems absolutely to prevent the progression from HIV infection to AIDS. Not only are such people (about 5 percent of those infected) not complaining--even if they feel significant survivors' guilt--they're offering their bodies to the fight against the syndrome. Researchers and physicians working today, at Massachusetts General Hospital, for example, are investigating the possibility of exploiting the tendency for some infected people's immune systems to resist HIV indefinitely. These "long-term non-progressors" are helping doctors provide a potential breakthrough method for treating those who show the severe flu-like symptoms of the initial illness but haven't yet developed antibodies--in what constitutes an early intervention with drug "cocktails." The technique comes after years of frustration in the medical community with a virus that has mutated and become resistant to some of the most vigorous, expensive, and complex therapies. There's Nothing in It... Disappointed
This video has little information if anything to offer...there's more info on a TV ADD medication comercial! I feel ripped off. Yet I purchased other items which were great.

Give Yourself Hope, Watch This Video
If you have Adult ADD you must watch this video. If you also have a loved one you care about, especialy if you are having trouble in a relationship, you must show this video to them as well. This video does a wonderfull job of showing how ADD can affect not only your personal life on a daily basis, but also the life of your loved one. It illistrates to those you care about how ADD affects you and the effects on a relationship. It gives you hope of an answer and an answer for your loved one. So don't just save yourself, save your relationship. This video can show you and your loved one a path to recovery.If nothing else it can show you that you are normal and can live a normal life. Excellent video. Highly helpful. Moderate on specific medical information. Shows ADD in an understanding way. Good luck.

Correction
Just read Robert Cook's biography of Judah Folkman, "Dr. Folkman's WAR: Angiogenesis and the Struggle to Defeat Cancer", which was excellent.I was thinking about buying copies for my group to read, a little inspiration never hurts, but then remembered this NOVA program.I haven't seen it since it originally aired, but it impressed me (and my non-scientist significant other) at the time.

Nice but Short
This video has lots of good information on setting up a visual schedule for your autistic student.However, I was disappointed that it was only 15 minutes long.It is also simplistic and very basic.I doubt if I will watch it a second time.
