This video has awesome dialouge! I'll recommend this to SM fans! In fact, I'm one of them!!!! I've been watching SM when I was a 5 year old in Japan. I did not think it was violent at all! This video has ecellent music. I sure wish It was still on TV! SM ROCKS ^__^!!!!

Dragonball Z Beginnings
Ok, ok, ok. Now, honestly, I don't think this saga is half bad! It has some great stories that are totally original and awesome! I especially like Goku traveling on Snake Way! Even though the voices are terrible and they edit all of the good stuff, this saga gets ragged on a lot more than it should. This set includes the 3 or 4 episode turned special of Radits, Goku traveling to Snake Way, Goku training with King Kai, and the Fights that break out between the Saiyans and the Z Gang. Even if you are a beginner and choose the Vegeta Saga over this, I would at least reccomend to give this a whirl.

I watched most of the series and the last episode back then... some of the fight scenes are too long, and plain boring.But don't get me wrong, quite hilarious and I laughed all the way through especially when Gohan engaged in a fight scene with Frieza.Gohan and Goku are super saiyans and they have this special power...Man... this is something!!!

Memories of the best anime
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon brings back so many memories. When I was very young and Sailor Moon first came out, I found it by fate by flipping the channels. Back then no one else watched it and it was on at 6:00 in the morning. Many years later I reunited with it and then I ordered the Japanese episodes fansubbed. The Japanese episodes were amazing. Back then their was no official distributer, so I ordered from a fansubbed distributer. The Japanese version was so different from the American version. It was completely different. I love both versions though. The English version brings back memories from my childhood while the Japanese version is uncut. It's fun comparing the episodes and seeing how much was changed. This version, however, is the edited and changed. It cuts out many scenes and makes a lot of changes. While it has changed a lot from the original Japanese version, it's great for a trip down memory lane, and brings back my childhood memories. This volume has very important episodes. This volume has many romantic moments and Serena and Darien and Usagi and Mamoru are my favorite couple ever. Many exciting events happen, and this volume is very important. It brings back memories from your childhood. The Japanese version is my favorite. I love Tuxedo Mask.

Rini Returns!
yes, as you might have guessed it, cute little rini has returned! this time she's here to stay! oh, if i were serena i'd be so mad, i'd go back to the future just to get away from rini! just kidding! i think rini is sooooooo cute!

She's BAAAAAAACK, and now she's a Sailor Soldier!
This is probubly one of those VHS's that if you need a good Sailor Moon laugh, pop it into the VCR. "Back From the Future" is a hilarious video that has the return of Chibi-Usa (Rini) as a Sailor Soldier, Sailor Chibi (Mini) Moon! (I love how in the dub, in the end of the first epiosde, Serena (Usagi) calls Rini a "Mini Brat"! Funny!^_^)Read more

A definate must get for fans!
There is four great things that happen in this movie: Suprise!
My opions on this video tape is "It's full of suprises to the scouts!" Anyway, it's a great show, many secrets will be revaled in this one. I think you'll like it, because it's one of the best Salior Moon shows. One more thing I like to say is that you are not suppose to tell what people what are on the items you are reviewing, so if you want to write a review, be sure of that.

One of the best!

Best Sailor Moon Movie Ever
The title says all.Sailor Moon has been my favorite anime since I was a kid.When I was young, I was aware that it was originally made in Japanese, but I didn't show any interest until I got older.With all the talk about how original animes are always better than the dubs, I wanted to know what it was like to watch Sailor Moon in Japanese.

I dont care what anyone says, Sailor Moon has got to be one of the top anime ever! I cant get enough of it! I have the japanese collection as well as the english. I also have the movies, which this one is probably the best. Honestly i cannot even tell. They are all great. The animation, the writing, the charactors, everything is just perfect. Ive been a fan for some time now, and i will continue to be a fan just because of the quality of the work. Sailor Moon makes you laugh, cry, and cheer the entire time.

Sadly, Kaorinite's Finale!....For Now.
These are, hands-down, my favorite episodes in the Sailor Moon S series.Apparently, the scripts for all 3 were pretty much dead-on most of the time(thanks to Sailor Moon Uncensored)!The monsters featured in the movie were also pretty cool.But aside from that, these episodes stood out as less silly and comedic, and it's nice to have episodes like that every once in a while, especially when a villian is going to be dying!Speaking of which, this is when Kaorinite is finally killed and doomed to the depths of Tokyo Tower....at least for now, as you will see later in the series.These episodes are essential to the overall plot and are absolute masterpieces.A must-buy!

This dubbed version is great. Just like a reviewer before stated, "a trip down memory lane" is what happens to me when I watch these dubbed epoisodes. In fourth grade, I started watching the dubbed epoisodes and later on found out about the orignal epiosodes. I loved this VHS. You get to see the one and only sailor moon grand transformation! Also, when she does her attack from that transformation, the tune is awesome! I recommend to any loving transformation Sailor Moon freak.

THE BEST VID EVER
This video is soooooo cool.In the second eposiode you see Uranus Pluto and Neptune transform.While in all three of these BRILL eposiodes Mimet one of the witches five is trying to snatch hearts. Treat of darkness!!!
Hotaru's powers are growing stronger and so do the suspicions of the outer sailor scouts.Sailor Pulto, Neptune and Uranus try to distroy Her but even as the sailor of disturtion,Reni tries to save her.Does Reni Save her? If She Did,Did she make the right choice? Buy this movie it is one of the best one's of this season. Sailor Moon: The Mysterious Sailor
This video is mostly about Amora, Micheele, and Trista thinking that Rini's friend is a bad person. I don't like those Sailor Scouts because they are weird and mean! I do like Trista though because she is nicer. Sailor Saturn and Sailor Mars are my favorites. I have the next movie, so I know how the story ends. I like the picture. It is Sailor Pluto (Trista) with Sailor Uranus (Amora) and Sailor Neptune (Micelle) behind her. She is wearing her white/black dress and holding her wand.

Different is good,
Let me say first that it' ha been nearly a year since I've watched Perfect Blue but it's not the type of movie that one forgets easily. The story is about the main character what is attempting go from being a pop star to being a serious movie star. Now this may not sound like much of an interesting story however as any ne that has seen this directors other works like Paranoia Agent, MillenniumActress and Tokyo Godfathers know better.
Good movie but could deal w/out a couple of scenes
I really like thrillers, espically psychological ones.I have never really been into the whole anima until I watched Ghost in the Shell.Very good movie but totally opposite from this.Perfect Blue deals with a pop-singer, turning into an actress.There were a couple of scenes in which I thougth they could have left out.But this movie had me hooked and guessing till the very end.I would recommend this.

Trio to duo to solo
First and foremost, this movie is meant to be particularly disturbing.As such, I already can say that this is not a younger-crowds film, and is definitely R equivalent.Even more then that though, I'm still having trouble grasping whether it's my kind of film, and all the while, I just try to grasp the story in it's entirety.

Historic documentary for women's body building enthusiasts
In any athletic field, the most watched female athletes are those who have a distinct physical presence.Just being good at your sport may allow you to win medals but you won't get much popular or media attention.This historic documentary highlights why this became a huge issue back in the 1980s when women's bodybuilding just started to take off.Rachel McLish was considered the favourite for the Caesars Palace World Cup Championship.She was very toned, lightly muscled and considered very attractive by most people.Bev Francis was an Australian powerlifting champion who shocked people wherever she went because she was so muscular.Everybody agreed that she had bigger muscles than anybody else but where there was disagreement was whether it was "aesthetic" for a women to be that heavily muscled.Bev comes across as very honest, dedicated, outspoken and caring, something you would expect when you see her.Lori Bowen was a Rachel McLish fan, so much so that she actually looked a lot like her.She and her boyfriend (who is a go-go dancer) dream that she will win big.She is from an economically depressed background and you get the feeling she has struggled for whatevr she got. Carla Dunlap is very well muscled, although not as big as Bev.She comes across as a very intelligent, outspoken woman, the type you would see in a unversity classroom arguing with her professor about an issue in metaphysics.I won't tell you who wins because that would spoil the movie but let me tell you why I gave it 3 stars.It explores the issue of sexualizing women in the sport of bodybuilding and at the same time tries to educate the viewer about the sport.Although it does fairly well at both tasks, the two different lens that are applied tend to make the final product less effective.Is it about women and their objectification in bodybuilding - something that continues today ?Or is it just a story of the competitors ?Or does it try to educate viewers about bodybuilding as a sport for women.In the end although you would have learned a little about each part, you are not quite sure.

I was so enraged at the sexism displayed by the judges and some of the other girls in this film I immediatley afterward went to the gym and hit the weights extra heavy with extra reps. what a rip!!
i have the old VHS copies of this and it has japanese language with subtitles. the dubbed voices on this DVD are CRAP!!!
A dissapointment to Go Nagai
When I first found out the Devilman was going to be released on DVD, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it.To my dissapointment(and DISGUST)I realized that the disc did *NOT* offer the original Japanese Language. I am an anime "purist" and I used to watch the original Jap. Lang and read the scripts for translation so I *THOUGHT* the disc would have the subtitles. But instead I am *forced* to watch a great anime film with sub-par voice acting which totally killed the emotional content of this anime for me. Parts I thought were dramatic and serious, are now comical and humorous.So very sad. Im going to get rid of mine immediately and buy the Japanese only edition (no eng. subtitles - I still have my scripts)
Awesome anime from Go Nagai--not for kids ya'll
Okay, if you're looking for something light and fluffy your kids can watch, this is not it!! If you don't get it by the kid friendly title of "Devilman" and menacing demon on the cover, then go ahead and by all means show it to the grandparents as well! For those of you like me who listen to very heavy music at volumes loud enough to shake the walls, love Dario Argento movies, and don't mind seeing loads of blood and gore, then this might be the anime for you. Yes, the dubbing isn't great, but that's not the point. The story itself is very interesting. Akira Fudo is an average student. When his friend, Ryo takes him to his house, and shows him a mask that allows him to see into the demon world, Akira is rightly freaked out (he wets himself okay). Ryo then tells him that unless they both merge with demons, that they will never be strong enough to defeat the demons who killed Ryo's father. They really don't have a choice, it's either merge and become a demon or die. And they really don't have a choice about which demon they merge with (as Ryo puts it, if they don't get one that is strong enough to defeat the others, then they will die anyway). Akira merges with Amon, an incredibly powerful demon, and becomes Devilman. Akira does not lose his humanity, but is able to control the demon to some extent. Nagumo, tell me it was just a bad dream.
This is the perfect example of an animated series that begins with 100% full force, but somehow forgets its footing, its actual roots, or plain disregards the foundation it was built and quickly destroys from within.I began watching "Legend of the Overfiend" with some hesitancy.I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but I knew that it was going to be both violent and sexual.Boy, I wasn't wrong, but what made this first film stand above was the story itself."Legend of the Overfiend" may have quite a bit of rape, violence, and nudity, but the science-fiction story behind these actions is incredible.It reminded me of the first time that I watched the film Ghost in the Shell, it broke some boundaries, but the story was incredible.Sadly, that is what hurt the other three films.While I was watching these series, I made a note, if I could take the sex, nudity, and rape, put it all to the side, and still enjoy the story, then the animators and storytellers were doing a great job.With "Legend of the Overfiend" I was successful."Legend of the Demon Womb" was slim, and it failed with "Return of the Overfiend".By the last of this series, the animators had grown too big for their britches, the story was completely destroyed, and our familiar faces seemed like strangers by the end.Everything that you never wanted to see happen to a series happened with Ch�jin densetsu Urotsukid�ji.
Pure craziness
This is something that most people should not see, personally I can tolerate alot of things but this stuff will give some people nightmares for a month!Not for everyone, but if you like really wild anime and not much bugs you, go for it.

Marvellous!
This is the best volume of Return of the Overfiend. It contains the real finale to the film with none of the pointless boredom and babble of episode 4. This has brilliant action, as well as the sexiest scene in all manga.The animation is more lifelike than movies 1 and 2 and some very sickartists made Megumi's breasts bounce very convincingly.Plus, many of the voiceactresses seem desperately brilliant. Not the same Sailor Moon I knew

Okay let me just tell you this.......this dvd rocks. It is the ultimate intro to the Sailor Moon S world. You meet the freaky Proffessor Tomoe and the equally messed up Kaori Knight not to mention their servents. You also meet Michiru/Michelle Kaioh-an elegent violinest and Haruka/Amara Tenoh-a skilled racer. However The witches 5,Hotaru,or Chibi-Usa do not appear YET!Anyways this video is really cool it got me inpsired to like the S series again and to also RENT more S videos/dvds.Before I sign off though don't let me renting the video make you think it is not good enough to buy......It DEFINETLY is.....DEFINETLY!!!!
The Beginning of 'S'
This is the edited first volume of the third season, S. This season was dubbed by a different company, so many of the voices from the first two seasons have been replaced. Serena's new voice is the only one that is tough to deal with. The actress tries too hard to imitate the previous voice, but she does improve a great deal as the episodes go on. Luckily, Lita & Raye's voice actors return, making the transition easier. Many people will complain about the edited version, but aside from one or two examples, you're not really missing anything.

Barely remember this movie at all...
I remember seeing this movie on Toonami twice a long time ago.It was pretty good of what I remember.It was edited for TV.I'd only go out and hunt for this DVD if want every DVD cause you're a collector or something.FUNimation is coming out with a new DVD for this movie with the GOOD voice actors and the ORGINIAL japanese version.It comes out May 31, 2005.Get that one instead if you want to see it.I just wanted to say that.

Pretty good......Bad english dub though
This is a pretty good movie, with good action and story.However, the english dub brings down he quality.Goku's voice is AWFUL!I'm glad FUNimation changed the voices when they took it over, becuase almost all the voices are bad.Gohan's is really the only voice I liked.When the voices in this movie say lines, they sound really corny.i bet if FUNimation had done the voices for this, it wouldn't have sounded corny.I haven't watched the japenese version of this yet, but I already know the voices on it are better because I've seen other japenese DBZ, and it all has pretty good voices.

Not comparable to Fight Club
I just want to mention that although this movie is extremely good it is compared to Fight Club far too much.Everyone says it's the Japanese Fight Club, but the only similarity is that there happens to be some fighting in both movies.You might as well compare the next Van Damme movie to Fight Club.But if you are a fan of Japanese films you won't be disappointed.It might not be as wicked as The Iron Man or Visitor Q, but it's still really good.

Make sure you know who the creator is!
Thinking this was "just" a Japanese movie, I found Tokyo Fist anything but. Its raw unsubtle imagery -- not to mention over-the-top boxing "makeup", made me quite happy that I was watching this on an empty stomach. Yet, despite the human imagery of violence and spiraling downward, the sterility and facelessness of Tokyo itself is quite powerful -- more frightening, since it's the only part of the movie that doesn't seem impossible. The film is primarily shot in alienating, washed out blues, with red the primary visual for contrasting, jarring, color scenes. Sensibility and plot take a firm back seat to evocation and statement. It's kinetic, low-budget, and relentless, yet not at all preachy or pretentious.

It's not "Tetsuo", but good on its own merits
Truthfully, I'm not sure what the other reviews are complaining about: "Tokyo Fist" is arguably more coherent than "Tetsuo", although it's hardly a finely tuned plot.Nor are the goings-on more extreme than in "Tetsuo."The tattoos and piercings are not "ritual"; in fact, they're pretty direct self-mutilation and alteration.I really don't understand why this is slapped with "Warning: Adult Content" labels, because frankly, the American cinema has seen much worse.Read more
