I love Backstreet Boys - Chapter One. I enjoy watching them over and over again.If you are a big fan of the Backstreet Boys you will totally enjoy watching all of these videos.

This movie was GREAT! I've seen this and "Back Street Stories" and this ranked way higher than that movie. I'm tellin' ya if you want to buy a Backstreet Boy movie that has no Bad motions, cuss words or sexual content this is the one to get.But there is one song that parents might want to listen to first. It's called "EveryBody [Backstreets Back]" and it says.."Am i The Only One" "Am I SEXUAL" "Am I everything You better Rock your Body right." I know my parents don't like that But thats preety much it. I hope i didn't spoile it for you. That is just one song so your ok. My parents didn't buy this for me but we rented it & if i did get it I would watch it EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

i love the backstreet videos, theyre so fun to watch because it looks like the boys have fun in all of them! all of their videos are really creative and make the fans want to watch more. the videos are funny and/or beautiful. i love the everybody video and the show me the meaning of being lonely videos especially because everybody looks so awesome and the guys look really good. the choreography in it is soo tite too. in the show me the meaning video it really shows the true and deep side of the boys. its really sad. their first vid quit playin` games is pretty good for their first official video. it shows that the boys hav more than singing talent but great bodies! i love this tape! ... pretty horrible

interesting approach
i ordered a vcd but instead got a vhs.i enjoyed hilary's dancing, though, even if her figure is not as slim as in her other video.she moves lightly, and well and her choice of clothes are in great taste.i like her accent too.
Great video to learn Egyptian style and cane dancing
This is an excellent instructional video for anyone with at least a basic knowledge of bellydance moves. Hilary Thacker does not spend too much time on teaching the moves, but the time she spends on the moves is sufficient. The video is broken down into teaching percussive hip movements, traveling steps, and cane. I especially enjoyed the cane section, and Hilary made the steps with the cane look simple and easy to do. Whether a dancer is considered "intermediate", "advanced", or whatever, is just subjective perception and opinion. Of course she dances like an intermediate bellydancer -she is teaching only "intermediate" moves. I would not recommend this video to a total novice who must condition herself first to get used to bellydancing, since the video is a somewhat strenuous workout. Love to Dance!Great DVD!
I really like this DVD.I work out eveyday and this is always included once a week.I have gained strength in my core and legs. My legs have a great shape from these exercises.It is easy to follow.The music is beautiful and relaxing.Just like a ballet class.I highly recommend this DVD.

NY City Ballet 2 - thumbs down
I am an adult ballet student. I've been dancing for 4 years and wanted to be able to workout at home when I couldn't make a class. This video is not a ballet class workout - there is no bar, center, across the floor setup. There is no music for you to feel as you watch the few exercises they guide you through. It is more of an aerobics class workout. The dancers are wearing dance sneakers!I'm very disappointed and glad it cost me less than $10 to buy this - I'd return it if I could!The voice on the tape is horrifically monetone and the dancers are not moving to any type of music - there's the same background music playing the whole time so you can't even feel a pattern. Do not waste your time on this if you are looking to mimic a ballet class workout.

This is a great book for ballet students and teachers.
This video is an awesome resource for ballet students.It is very enjoyable to watch profesional dancers do steps perfectly as in a class.The only thing wrong with it is, if your school does not teach the Balanchine method, the video might disagree with some things, but other than that...excellent!!! music and visual euphoria
Kitaro's hypnotic music combines with the colors, costumes, contortions,accrobatics and story! The sight and sound dance together as one in kitaro's incredible mix of new age,classic, jazz and rock. It created a trancelike emotional effect that left my entire family mesmirized and enchanted!
It's an OK movie...
I have watched it and found that it is not as good as some of the newer Cirque du Soleil movies, such as Dralion.It is sort of weird at the end. It has strange music which I didn't like personally, but you may find it enjoyable. I would have rated it 2 1/2 but you couldn't do that.

A circus like no other
It is a rarity that a video has me awestruck after watching it for the first time. The only other video that did that to me was Riverdance. Cirque Ingenieux is one of those experiences that is satisfying on so many levels. The artistry of the performers, both musical and acrobatic, is outstanding. Colleen Ryan (The Angel) sings with an etherial yet powerful tone that sets Kitaro's work wonderfully. The dreamlike setting makes for a sometimes chilling backdrop to the performers that do feats that you would swear no human can do. The two asian contortionists who stretch their bodies in incredible shapes and directions. The two strongmen that perform an act so mindboggling, I had to rewind several times and see it again. Jugglers, acrobats, mimes, and other street performers fill out a video that is as visually stunning as musically beautiful ... Read more

SUPERB 80s Pop Music Videos!
First of all, I love the Jets' music and have enjoyed it since I was in preschool back in 1987!I remember these videos, especially "Crush On You" and "You Got It All".But I purhcased this video recently and have not at all been able to let it rest!I absolutely love their music videos from "Curiosity" to "You Better Dance"!I never thought I would be able to find this video collection, until I found a copy on Ebay and was determined to get it.

Five bad boys with the power to rock you...
i finally got another video after i watched my 5ive video a couple of hundred times..This is i truly believe the best video any band has ever done...they have all their videos from their first album...including some videos that hasn't been seen in america... A must have for any Five fan or pop music fan!
Five: The Home Video is an excellent watch! I have it, and have watched it about 100 times, and I still laugh everytime. If you're a Five fan, you HAVE to have this! The Best Vid of them!
This video I believe is the best about Five. Even though they quit in September 2001, you can always look back on this tape and remember that they were REALLY great. This tape shows all the videos from their first album "Five", things each member loves to do, clips from different things like when they went to TRL on MTV & much more. Trinity at it's best!
I have seen Trinity live, and let me tell you, even if this IS a video, it still captures the soul and true meaning of traditional Irish stepdance. To the reviewer that commented "Go see Lord or Riverdance..." let me say to you, this IS real Irish dance, the dance that bore the international phenoms of Lord and Riverdance. REAL Irish stepdance is not about short skirts and sequins, it is about sweat, discipline and ART. This video of Trinity showcased all of the wonderful talents us Irish dancers know and love. I hope Trinity can make another video if they could squeeze one in on their touring schedule, because I for one, would be anxious to see it. Dance on Trinity, and grand work by Howard, simply intoxicating, If you want to see REAL Irish dance, make it a point to view Green Fire and Ice, traditional Irish dance done right. If you want the product of traditional mixed with modern twists, get Riverdance. Simply put, two ghillies up for Green Fire and Ice! Well done, Trinity, simply brilliant. (BTW, a little Irish dance humor thrown in there, ghillies being the ladies' softshoe. :) )-Monica

Wrong Style for WCS
Here in the East and probably in most of the US, the WCS is a dance done to blues, soul, motown Al Green, Wilson Pickett, etc. (music with a beat and soulful sound). This video is off base. The istructors in their western outfits teach WCS as a country type dance with no emphasis on soul, rythym or blues (the heart of this dance). When not laughing, giggling or cracking corny jokes, they are competent in teaching something about the basic steps. Albeit in a bland, marching "do dah" style that may suit a country bar but will get you laughed at in a social dance or nightclub. Princeton, NJ.
WCS is the most fun dance.
It's always a disappointment when the instructors do not dance to an entire song on a visual tutorial. Robert & Laureen are great dancers. It would have been fun to see them dance an entire dance together. The instructions are easy & straight forward. They are fun teachers.
The director is an idiot
If you don't know a thing about the WCS, I think this is a good tape. That being said, each time I watch it I want to puke more. Their attempts at humor just plain stink the first time, and after that they are just sickening. I just now had to turn this tape off and write this, I am so pisxed off. They are not funny in the first place, just stupid. How often does the idiot who wrote this script and directed it think I want to hear this crap? NEVER! I JUST WANT TO LEARN THE DANCE. The teaching part is fine, but it only is about 60% of the tape, when it should be 100%. It is too late to fix it now, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, in the future do not include a single line that is meant to be funny. You don't know what funny is, and even if you did, it would no longer be funny on the second watching. ... Read more

I'm writing this review a bit late.I had this tape since it's release date.I liked this tour story. It wasn't the best that they've released. The storyline follows them from every city and gives you a glimpse of what it was like for them in America--and without Geri ("Ginger").It includes a lot of clips of the fans talking before the concert and what they expect the concert will be like. "One Hour of Girl Power" is better, IMO.

Interesting and often exceptionally good
I had mixed emotions about the presentation but overall I think this is a very good sampling of dance.I especially loved the Lindy Hoppers, the flamenco numbers, the traditionalism and fine costuming of the English National Ballet, and the Irish step-dancing.The whole Riverdance phenomenon passed me by, but now I see what all the fuss was about.What I didn't like: the choreography and drab costuming of the first Royal Ballet number, the looseness of the salsa dancers, the over-representation of ballet and the entirely under-represented world of ballroom dancing.Also, the credits were sparse and uninformative.Nevertheless, the charming elegance of the ballerinas, the thundering energy of the step-dancers, and the death-defying Lindy Hoppers will often leave you breathless.

Something for everyone
If you like dance, you'll enjoy "Explosive Dance".Filmed at the Royal Albert Hall as a Red Cross benefit, this medley of dance styles has something for just about everyone; ballet, modern, jive, salsa, Irish step dance, even flamenco.The main gripe I have is that there are no subtitles to tell me exactly what the heck I'm watching.Some of it I recognize: pas de deuxs from "Sleeping Beauty" and a weakly orchestrated "Don Quixote", and the unmistakable thunder of "Riverdance" (the performance opens with the delightful "Trading Taps" and closes with the energetic finale).However, the notes on the package only identify the performing company, not the individual dancers or the piece they are performing.Also, the camera has a disconcerting tendency to show close-ups of the dancers when we'd really rather see their feet.Still, this is a good one to have in your dance library, if only for its variety.

paula brings it.....
paula pours her heart and soul into this fun,high energy extravaganza.it's more than just your run of the mill concert,all the elements are there.great songs,a tight band,energetic dancers and of course amazing choreography.if you're not a paula abdul fan, you will be one after you watch this.

I was so excitted to find this on DVD, I grew up #1 FANS OF Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul. They were very popular at the same time but Paula was never able to capture the audience of the mid 90's with her follow up to Spellbound, "Head Over Heals", instead Janet took over. I think it's a shame we lost her as a recording artist and performer. I remember seeing Paula for the first time in December of 1991, in Phoenix,AZ,when I was 13 and in the 7th grade. It was "The Under My Spell Tour" and I was so excited to finaly see her Live. I saw her in "92" as she performed her encore perfomance, and I became so dazzled by her performance.
