We LOVE to watch Monster Trucks!
This tape was SUCH a let down. There was very little footage about Monster Trucks.Most of the tape was made up of clips of other types of Motor Sports.I thought the idea of "no talking" would be a good thing.The tape REALLY lacked appeal because you could not hear the sound of the truck engines.It was like watching a movie on "mute".You could not hear the crowd cheering either.It just took away from the enjoyment.Also, my husband thought that the tape looked like a home video.The producer chopped up the footage, and tried to make it interesting....which in fact took away from the flow of watching what little Monster truck footage there was.I would not recommend this video.It is nothing like watching Monster Madness on TNN... which is what I thought that I would be getting.I don't want other shoppers to be dissapointed as I was.

A really cute video, great for kids AND grown ups!
It's hard to kind NASCAR-related videos that are appropriate for kids.This little gem fills that niche nicely.Benny Parsons, a former Winston Cup champion, takes his niece to the races, where she interacts with other children (of drivers and crew members), shops for souvenirs, sees the garage area, gets a tour of the inside of a hauler, and watches the race.The kids in this video are clearly not professional actors, but they are very appealing and easy to watch.Jessica Waltrip (Darrell's daughter) turns in an especially able performance.Parsons is affable and he interacts comfortably with the other drivers in a way that is really fun to watch. all about race cars
My 3 year-old son has become a huge Nascar fan.It is great.It helps him learn number recognition, ordinal numbers and parts of a car.We found this video and he insists on watching it every day.The video explores the day of a race car driver.It explores the many different jobs to get the car ready for a race. THE Porsche Video
If there's a definitive Porsche video, this may well be it.De Cadenet's knowledge and method of getting that knowledge to the viewer is without equal.
Excellent Enthusiast Video
I wathced this video while it was aired on Speedvision.It is the Porsche lovers dream come true.It does end rather ubruptly with the 986 Boxter and Late Model 911 information.However, Alain de Cadenet provides excellent narration and hands on driving experiences throughout the entire film.The cars reviewed in the film are absolutely of the highest concours quality.

Alain de Cadenet is an engaging and qualified (having raced for Porsche and Ferrari, among others, in the 60's and 70's) host of this video which chronicles Porsche's racing from the beginning to the present.All thegreat cars are here: 904, 908, 917, 935, 962.Fantastic footage,particularly of the 60's - the segment with Brian Redman driving us throughthe Targa Florio is great.If there's anything to fault, it's the audio:mostly too soft and unfortunately does not capture the wonderful enginenoises.The last few minutes where Alain talks about the Boxster and 996are shot in video as opposed to film, and seem tacked-on and a bit toocommercial.Otherwise, an excellent documentary. ... My son loves it!
I grew up on NASCAR, therefore my son is growing up on it too. When NASCAR Racers became popular I had to buy a video for my son (with the cheap price, I thought it was worth a shot). My 3 (almost 4)-year-old son loves NASCAR Racers: Start Your Engines. I just ordered Maximum Overdrive for him because he loves this one so much. The price is great and the movie is action packed. My husband and I even enjoy watching it with him. It's a cartoon that actually has an exciting plot!! I recommend anyone with a child that loves excitement to buy this movie. It is worth the money, although you don't pay much at all for it. You don't even have to be a NASCAR fan to enjoy this video.

This is an excellent video compilation which goes into the history and intricacies of the world of Formula 1.My only complaint is that it ends chronologically with the 1991 season.It would be nice if they make anupdated or an addendum of videos that cover the seasons (cars, drivers,races, highlights, etc.) from 1992 up to the present.

Don't get fooled by the title!!
I purchased this video thinking it was just monster trucks but I was surely disappointed. About half the video is so but the other half is tractor pulls, demolitions, motorcycles, and mudders. Not only that but at least one third of the action is not bloopers at all. It should have been titled ''Bloopers And Action In Motorsports''so the buyer isn't mislead (or should I say suckered) into buying this terrible video. My recommendation would be the ''Monster Truck Mania'' series instead.
