Severely repititious
Yes, the quality is poor, but beyond that, the repetitiveness is maddening! The odd side step/arm twist exercises go on for eternity and don't seem very effective. The one positive is that the video is safe for your joints but it's not the best workout.

Don't waste your money on this boring video
I'm shocked by the positive reviews of this workout. For one thing, the video itself seems very low quality. The music and background are both bad. Also, the background people are unprofessional. They look like they're going to crack up every time the camera's on them--plus they don't seem like they're even trying. I liked it.
I bought the video based on the recommendations and I am pleasantly surprised.While not the slick production number of some other kickboxing exercise videos, Cardio Karaticise isn't bad.If you want a Hollywood production number with a cute, spunky aerobics instructor exhorting you on to new levels of suffering then this isn't for you.Read more

Me encant� desde P.R.
Este video es muy completo. Se lo recomiendo a las poblaciones hispanas. Excelente vista, "cueing", f�cil de seguir, muy bien hecho desde la m�sica hasta las rutinas. Trae inf. sobre nutricion, bien valiosa ysencilla.

So fun, you can't believe you're sweating!
As a former aerobics instructor, I get a bit tired of the same old moves... I loved this tape so much I recommended it to all my friends!The music is great, the moves are fun.A great cardio-workout and tons of fun!

Not as good as the Reebok Sweat Factory ...
I also bought this because I loved the Reebok Sweat Factory video, but was pretty disappointed. I thought it was a great idea to have a salsa workout and it sounded like lots of fun. But the workout is not very intense and ispretty boring. The moves are more like variations on marching than actualsalsa steps. Besides, the female instructor impresses me as actingstereotypically latina--almost like Charo. The only time she really seemshuman is when she says, "Don't lock your knee out," during thestretching scenes (which are very short). She and the male instructor startflirting towards the end. It's not a pretty sight.

The only down side was the volume of the music
This is a great work out if you like Latin music and you have some rhythm in your soul! The only down side was the music was not loud enough. I do not recommend this video at all.
I was shocked to see the poor techniques used in this video. The music is annoyingly loud, Ms. Bylund is annoyingly loud, and her techniques are so poor that I can't believe she's a certified black belt instructor. I havetaught martial arts for many years (and boxing aerobics for several monthsnow) and I would not recommend this particular video to any of my students.Thumbs definitely down!
