Also includes a "tankfull" of extras to "dive" into!!! This is absolute classic animation!!! Fun for the whole family!!! Two thumbs up!!! Five stars!!! A+

5-0 out of 5 stars Finding Nemo is a great "catch" for the whole family
Pixar Studios have done it again. I have to say that these guys are totally good in computer animation, as well as in storytelling. Rarely do those qualities come together but here they are, delivering unto the audience once again something that one can only be drowned with wonder. Such is the marvel of Finding Nemo.
5-0 out of 5 stars A really great movie!!!
I really loved this movie. I have watched it over and over again. I have never gotten sick of it. It makes me laugh and cry all in the same DVD. This movie is a must for all kids and adult kids too. Ellen's role is just great!!! It fits her to a tee. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars unhappy ending
purchased the dvd and received it quickly - when trying to view the dvd I found it has no audio - I contacted the seller NO RESPONSE - I then went through Amazon and still NO RESPONSE. I am very disappointed and sad to say this has put a sour taste in my mouth. I can say I will never purchase anything from CHILLOUT ZONE again as it only takes but a minute to respond to an e-mail and they can not even to that....

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply one of Disney's Best
This has got to be at least in the top three of the many animated movies the Disney studios produced. So many great characters are in it - Cleo, Jiminy Crickit, The Good Fairy, Gepetto, Honest John, Monstro and of course Pinocchio himself. So many good hummable songs too including"An Actor's Life", I've Got No Strings to Hold Me Down, and the most famous "When You Wish Upon A Star."The story is original and the plot exciting without being too scary for little ones and all ends happily.Don't miss the ride at Disneyland either!

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the great disney films
Made back when Disney made truely great animated films. I love the old Disney stuff and Pinocchio is one of the best. Disney was and is the king of this film genre, especially back when this one was made. NO animation done today rivals the Disney cartoons of the era this film was made. Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Pixar and any of the other animation studios of today will never touch the quality and imagination of early Disney films. I don't like computer animation, so maybe I'm biased in that respect. This film is pure art. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars VHS Movie "Come to the Stable"
Great movie, Great service, Many thanks to all involved. Received in good condition and good time. Many thanks Patricia Ryan

4-0 out of 5 stars Charming movie that deserves to be on DVD
Come to the Stable is a charming movie that deserves to be on DVD.There is fine acting all around and Hollywood can relearn on how to depict religion in a positive light and tone from movies from the late 1940's.
4-0 out of 5 stars A simple story about the POWER of faith
No complicated story line: two nuns come to America , from France, to "answer a call".They come with nothing except belief in this "call".They have no plan and no money but...mysterious things begin to happen and 'the call" starts to take shape.

4-0 out of 5 stars Please put this on DVD
This movie is so bad it's good. And I don't mean Gone With the Wind good.More like Showgirls.Sleazy, preposterous, but a heck of a lot of fun.Don't take it seriously.Enjoy it for what it is, trashy, stupid, fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Movie is Low-grade Porn.
I purchased the movie only because I was captivated by the cover's depiction of interracial couples. The story line is slow and wonders-a-long without any hint of a plot, but I found the historical setting to be splendid. The depiction of plantation life in Antebellum Louisiana or rather Southern Society in general is intriguing if not entertaining, but can hardly be called accurate. When viewing this film keep in mind that it is merely for entertainment purposes and NOT historical documentation.I gave this film 5 stars for the historical setting, because I felt the period was depicted quite well and had believable characters, even though Southern Society was somewhat exaggerated in its depiction.

5-0 out of 5 stars A delightful comedy for all ages
Veteran actor James Mason's "straight man Maxwell" to Ken Norton's "boiled man Mede" is a highlight of one of the most entertaining comedies of the past few decades.

Editorial Review

When the totalitarian planet of Mongo decides on a whim to obliterate Earth, it's up to the lunk-headed quarterback Flash Gordon and his oddball companions to make the universe safe for democracy. Based on the classic (and infinitely more reputable) comic strip and its '30s screen serialization, this cotton-candy-colored trash classic deserves immortality for Queen's unforgettably pulsating soundtrack alone. The legendary Max von Sydow appears to be having a blast as the evil Ming the Merciless, while Ornella Muti, as his daughter, is the living embodiment of what attracts adolescent boys to comics in the first place. (She makes Barbarella look mundane.) One of the most shamelessly entertaining movies ever made, this is a knowingly absurd sensory freak-out that'll have the viewer blissfully checking the sky afterward for signs of Hawkmen. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars George Lucas, please take note
This remake of the classic serial adventure plays like the opposite of the recent 'Star Wars' prequels: it's campy, silly, goofy, cheesy...and a lot of fun.
5-0 out of 5 stars Why has this not been reissued!!
Oi, it's true this has come out on dvd already but, hey it came out on dvd almost ten years ago.Back then DVD players were around the price of 700 bucks so, this movie was released in a very very small print run...... Here it is 2006 dvd players are 50 bucks and this movie is still not rereleased and ironicly sells more than it cost to buy a dvd player!?!? Whats up with that?????Why has this great cheesy sci fi film yet to see a reissue or some sort of "collectors tin" edition just so they can charge 30 bucks. Either way I'd be estatic to see this come out on dvd at a price I could afford!!!The only thing I could see thats preventing this from being rereleased is the soundtrack royalties...... If so, hey queen please don't be greedy or hey universal don't be cheap on royalties.... I don't know who's at fault but, come on bring this film to dvd again at a price we can afford.... Someone is sitting on this film because it's not even rerunned on some offshoot of a turner network like it was throughout the eighties..... Bring this back to dvd! Flesh Gordon is easily findable on dvd but, not the real movie..... Oh, as for a review of this film this is a movie about a jets quaterback who saves the universe! And in space if one recalls dudes bleed blue blood since theres no oxygen ;) And the soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks made by one band for a movie period. No songs feel forced into the movie... Instead each track flows perfectly with this film.... IE this was made in the day when soundtracks where just that soundtracks to the film. Not some junk to sell a new "artist's" single like soundtracks are so like today.....

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow - has it really been 26 years since Flash saved every one of us?
And what thanks did he get? No special treatment, no Superbowl ring, not even a crummy twenty-fifth anniversary re-release on DVD. Where's the justice? Where are the special features? Where's the widescreen, digital transfer? What the heck ever happened to Sam Jones? Is Ming the Merciless running the Universal Studios home video division? Will my children be doomed to a lifetime of Flash-lessness? Please, Flash, say it's not so!

5-0 out of 5 stars Never Compromise
Comparisons to Ayn Rand's novel can be made but the cinema and the written word are two different mediums. The gist of the story is intact in this film. The film's strength lies with Gary Cooper's performance as architect Howard Roark and the dialogue of his interaction with the film's other characters. Cooper's delivery at his trial is a screen classic. Patricia Neal and Kent Smith give very good performances. Max Steiner's score is one of his best.
5-0 out of 5 stars Finally!!! It's about time!!!
It's about damn time they released this film on DVD!! Ignore what detractors say; this film is excellent! It's like the Cliff's Notes version of Rand's novel, which is not-- contrary to what so many here are saying--a bad thing as the novel was WAY too long! Rand did a great job distilling her epic novel down into a workable screenplay. In fact, no one else could have done it. Cooper is awesome as Roark--so good in fact that I to this day cannot imagine anyone else pulling off the part so effectively. The drama builds and builds until the payoff--Roark's epic speech. It would do a lot of people today a lot of good to hear that speech, especially the liberals who want to remove the consequences of behavior from society until all that's left are a bunch of dependent animals waiting for the government to feed them like a lab technician feeding lab rats. Raymond Massey is also excellent, as is the cinematography. Using the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings as the film's portrayal of Roark's "vision" was brilliant. This film would never be made today--just look at how long they've been swearing they're going to make Atlas Shrugged into a miniseries...decades! This film also needs to be seen to be believed, and now, on Nov. 7th, you can do both!

4-0 out of 5 stars Objectivism aside, this is a great love story!
The "Fountainhead" is one of my favorite films for the acting and the love story, although Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy is a bit heavy-handed in it. I did think that Gary Cooper has a bizarre grin on his face when his character rapes Patricia Neal's Dominique; the outcome of the trial at the end is incredibly far-fetched and the elitist, condescending view towards both popular fads as well as traditional taste is annoying. Nevertheless, the romance between Roark(Cooper)and Dominique(Neal) is one of the most passionate ever captured on film, unaided byanything graphic or explicit.Much of it has to do with the incredible chemistry between the two actors. The frenzy with which Neal blows up the housing project expresses more passion than any dozen nude love scenes in a modern R-rated movie. The sacrifice of true love due to fear of being hurt is shown as well as the fact that the hero wants to be worthy of the woman he loves by not compromising his principles. The struggle of Roark to be true to his inspiration rather than give in to money is a struggle not unknown to many artists, writers, and filmmakers. While I am aware of the flaws of the Objectivist philosophy, I always enjoy this film, watch it often and recommend it as part of any classic film collection. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Tale As Old As Time Done Right
Beauty and the Beast may well be the very best animated film Disney ever produced. The characterizations of the leads are great as we have the sweet book loving Belle and the the flawed but totally redeemable "Beast".Gaston and Belle's father are also well drawn and memorable as are the comic relief bearing "enchanted" servants at the castle. There's something for everyone as the story is so romantic it leaves a lot of grown up ladies sighing, the bad guys are not too scary for the little ones and for the rest it is just a great tale.Plus Beauty and the Beast has some of the best songs ever written for a Disney production. No wonder the Broadway musical hasbeen such a hit as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tied for first for best Disney feature
I must've been about 10 when I first saw the Lion King and I was practically floored. Those catchy-for-their-own-good songs, the animation(well, me now talking) and that wildebeast stampede. The other one is Beauty and the Beast which for the life of me I can't remember seeing when I was young yet loved every minute of it. Revisiting it now I still love it and on one hand seeing it as a landmark in Disney's catalogue but also one in a series of films that marked a brief creative comeback.
2-0 out of 5 stars Beauty and the Beast
Yep, Disney animation. All my students see this movie at some point between leaving high school and when I meet them as university students. Sometimes, their Chinese university teachers show it to them in class. So, I thought I'd see why they love it so much. I'm still wondering. This is a two-page short story, not a film. But on the bright side, if you skip all the songs it's under an hour. I've never enjoyed a singing toon in my life. ... Read more

I missed this movie in the theaters so when it bacame available to rent my wife and I decided to give it a try. What a delight, I envy anyone seeing this film for the first time. From the wonderful cast, Caine, Duvall, and Osment are in their peak form; to the fine direction and the beautiful cinematography the film is a true treasure. After watching it we immediately bought several DVD's and gave them as gifts to family members and friends. A wonderful mix of coming of age, adventure, and just genuine good fun this is a must see film.

3-0 out of 5 stars Is there a doctor in this movie?
Yeah, lots of them. There's Frank Sinatra, Dr. Boone. A great pal & party animal. He's becoming a doctor because his daddy is a rich one. Not with my kid. There's Lee Marvin, Dr. Brundage, plannig his lucrative career. Patients are a necessary evil to be dealt with. Then there is another aspiring doctor, Lucas Marsh played by Robert Mitchum. He is the best of them plus he's really built. But he is poor & doesn't have enough money to finish med school. Along comes "plain jane" nurse Kristina, played by Olivia de Havilland. She lives with her parents, doesn't get out much & is turning into a spinster. But she has saved her$$$. Lucas romances her, she falls in love & they marry. His $$$ problems are solved & he has a wife he doesn't love. Lucas is a great doctor & I wouldn't mind being his patient. His people skills however, are lacking. He only has time in his life for medicine. As a result he alienates those around him, most notably his wife. He has impossibly high standards that no one can reach including himself. He is not god. Lots of familiar faces inclusing Harry Morgan playing Kris' idiot father, Brodrick Crawford as the pricipaled patho- logist &, several others.
4-0 out of 5 stars Lush Ode to the Hippocratic Oath & True Love
"Not as a Stranger" was an unexpected pleasure once I got past the shock of seeing Robert Mitchum, Frank Sinatra, and Lee Marvin (or his twin)as medical students staring down from tiered seating at a lecturing doctor.Oh, my, I thought, that is NOT a town in which to get sick!I was reeling from mis-casting shock for a number of minutes into the movie, but then Hollywood starting luring me into enjoyment of the performances of these actors cast against type.Bob Mitchum, the penniless son of a hopeless alcoholic (a very WELL-cast Lon Chaney, Jr., alas, in a sad role)wants to be a doctor more than any of his fellow colleagues, many of whom dream of big future salaries and big old 50's cars, in order to set the world right. This strikes me as a realistic characteristic of a child of an alcoholic, who's had chaos thrust upon him and wants to put it back in its place. The fact that Bob Mitchum doesn't look like any doctor most folks would imagine actually starts working for him--he does look Proletarian, he does look like someone who's had a rough time heretofore, and he definitely looks like someone with the physical strength to stand up to a doctor's rigorous career demands. Moreover, Frank Sinatra plays the indulged but basically good-hearted son of a rich man who is in med school to score money afterwards convincingly; he WAS a good actor and I came to enjoy his presence in the role. There is A LOT of information in the film about what a good doctor should know and how difficult the job is; done correctly, medical practice is a, don't laugh, noble calling and the film promotes this view.It also, however, acknowledges the presence of greed and mediocrity among medical men and hospital administrators, so there is a sensible balance between ideal and real. Now, as to the true love aspect, Olivia DeHaviland does a wonderful job as the Swedish-American nurse who loves and supports (and I do mean financially as well as emotionally)Bob Mitchum's young doctor. This is another one of those films in which the luminous, beautifully put-together Ms. DeHaviland is supposed to be, cough! cough!, plain--homely, declasse, etc.Yes, her platinum blonde hair is pulled tight enough to break and the make-up is laid on very sparingly, but for heavens sake why did Hollywood think this woman wasn't a raving beauty? I think perhaps the sincerity with which she played gentle women of character and responsibility is partly to blame for her being cast as un-glamorous.It apparently was as hard to reconcile "good" with "sexy" in olden Hollywood as it is now, sigh...Anyway, the nurse sincerely loves her doctor despite her growing awareness that he considers her more of a convenience than anything else, and for me the romantic tension was not so much in the doctor cheating with the horsy rich vavoom girl as in wondering if the fool man would ever realize what he has at home.Watch this beautifully shot, lush, 50's drama and find out.And enjoy all those character actors and actresses, such as Harry Morgan playing a flat-affected Swede with a wonderful poker face.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the first of the medical reality movies
Although many of the scenes in this epic would be judged "hokey" by modern standards, "Not As a Stranger" was one of the first films to give viewers a factual look inside the medical profession and challenge the god-like nature of physicians.Mitchum plays a young man with many personal "issues," who tries to work them out by driving himself to become a stellar doctor.Sinatra plays an uncharacteristically "second banana" role as a stalwart physician-friend to Mitchum and DeHavilland.Broderick Crawford is the demanding and idealistic medical school professor who inspires Mitchum, Bickford is the long-suffering and self-sacrificing family doctor whose practice Mitchum joins, and DeHavilland and Grahame are the two women in his life.DeHavilland represents many doctors' wives through the decades, who were chosen as spouses because of the stability and respectability they offered... not because of love. The anguish this causes DeHavilland in the film is poignantly representative of many other real-life women in her position.Gloria Grahame is also another stereotype of the 1950s, playing a rich, bored, depressed widow who acts out on her pain with sexual promiscuity (which is only referenced in a veiled fashion in this movie). In the end, Mitchum fails himself and his friend and mentor, Bickford, by failing to save Bickford's life when he has a medical crisis of his own.The shattering effect this event has on Mitchum is emphasized by the fact that the only person he can turn to in his grief is his wife, DeHavilland, whom he does not love and who does not love him. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Why Can't We All Just Get Along for Love's Sake
It's a 60's remake of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Maria and Tony come from two different ethnic backgrounds, but what they do share is the love and passion they have for one other. However, their already fueding families would never accept such a union and blood will be shed.
5-0 out of 5 stars Words cant describe the beauty and splender of this movie
This is the best movie ever created and that is all that needs to be said. Many people who have reviewed this product state that the gangs are fighting eachother with ballet, and that there is no such thing as love at first sight and that the plot makes no sense. Dont listen to these people. buy this DVD and you will be blown off your feet.

I've seen this show on Broadway several times, in community theatre at least twice and have seen the movie more times than I can count, but this DVD edition is absolutely wonderful! Especially great for a film buff like me are the hefty special features and even a copy of the screenplay. This retelling of the Romeo and Juliet story in the streets of New York just can't be beat on any front, from the opening bird's eye views to the closing pull-back from the playground and even the masterful credits (to give everyone time to dry their eyes before the lights came on) is a great addition to any movie musical fan's DVD collection. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very Haunting, Very Disturbing, Very Good!!!
These two women deserved so much more credit than they got for this movie back then. Two of the very best performances in movie history.Anne Bancroft and Sissy Spacek have that rare talent that comes through in every role they have played. In the original play Sissy's character was played by the great Kathy Bates who I here did an incredible job at it.The movie version of the play is a great adaptation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliant !
WOW! Brilliantly written work and adaption to film.Sissy Spacek and Anne Bancroft could not have nailed this performance more perfect, amazing talent.Marsha Norman seems to have captured the "Sane Suicidal", something I'm not aware has been accomplished to this degree.

5-0 out of 5 stars I say No Mamma!
I know about alot of movies before I even ever see them this was one of those movies that took me forever to see. when I got around to it I was simply blown away. sissy plays a woman who decides to kill herself! no ends and's or but's she simply is going to do it. telling her mother before she does the final act. I guess what touchs me most about this movie is all that happens in one's life before it's over. not the fact that she is going to kill herself. also alot of stuff having to do with self confidence. there were things in the movie about what sissy thought of herself and why she felt so alone in the world. as simple as getting fired from a job because the way she looked at people to one of her mom's friends saying her hands were too cold. to the failed mothering of her child gone wrong to failed marriage to husband cecil to losing her father. these things might all seem depressing but in one's life alot takes place. all these things have touched a cord and sissy decides to get off the bus. what you get is a touching story and a wonderful film about a mothers attempt to save her child that has decided to take her life. 2 wonderful timeless performances from both actress's. ... Some people may sneer at this 1965 musical, but the truth is the film has earned its status as a perennially watchable romantic-drama, largely on the strength of a fun story and chemistry between stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Veteran filmmaker Robert Wise (Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars BEAUTIFUL TRANSFER OF A PERFECT MOVIE
SOUND OF MUSIC 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION (Fox) is the latest digital version of this beloved, timeless, film. The two-disc set features an exceptionally sharp transfer and a rich audio mix but the real treat is the new commentary with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer (this in addition to the late Robert Wise's commentary).

This is my favorite video, I love it! I watch it over and over- not just at Halloween.A lot of the narration is quoted from the book. I love everything about it: the story, the characters, the animation... It's a great video for people of all ages.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beware the Headless Horseman!
This classic cartoon features the voice of Bing Crosby in Washington Irving's tale of the schoolmaster who loved the fair Katrina, but also believed in spooks!Children over age 7 will love to be scared by this funny Halloween tale...but keep the lights on!5 stars!

Editorial Review

This yoga set is perfect for busy people who need to work in a way to relax. On the a.m. tape, Rodney Yee takes you through a 15-minute morning yoga set, while Patricia Walden leads a 20-minute evening routine on the p.m. tape. The a.m. tape was filmed on a beach on Maui at sunrise, providing a soothing background for this gentle workout. In the morning, Rodney tells us, "the body is rested but stiff from inactivity." The stretches he demonstrates are designed to increase circulation, improve mobility, and bring clarity to your mind. The movements are easy to follow (they include a conscious relaxation, the a.m. workout, and a guided meditation), and the set is short enough that it can be squeezed into the most hectic of morning schedules. The p.m. video was filmed at sunset in Death Valley. Patricia's yoga set is designed to quiet the mind after the stress of the day and to help you make the transition from active to quiet. She uses a combination of a centering series, standing poses, forward bends, and restorative poses to help you ease into night. You will need some firm blankets to sit on and a yoga strap (although a belt or scarf will serve the same purpose) to perform these movements. Perfect for the beginner and for the overworked. 5-0 out of 5 stars Must-have companion to Song Of The South
If you love Song of The South, you'll probably like this one almost as much.It stars the same boy, Bobby Driscoll, and has animated sequences. The cartoons aren't as funny as Uncle Remus's tales, but the rest of the story is better. The little boy raises a black lamb to enter at the fair. The lamb gets into a lot of mischief, and the boy learns some valuable lessons.Great performances by Beulah Bondi, Burl Ives, and Harry Carey help make this a memorable family classic.Great technicolor too! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Man Follows His Star
This is one of the finest 60's westerns dealing with man's struggle for independence, overshadowed by "Hud," though far more entertaining a film. An incredible lineup, a cast of stars and future stars if you watch closely:Bill Bixby(helo pilot), Walter Matthau, George Kennedy, Gena Rowlands and Bill Rausch. A year later you would know Rausch as the one-armed man Dr. Richard Kimble chased for 4 seasons on "The Fugitive." Adapted from,"Brave Cowboy," a simple story about a drifter-cowboy who didn't like fences, this is more fleshed out, with Kirk Douglas trying totalk sense into his friend, by breaking in jail with him, a plausible sub-plot to explain his visit. Douglas has some touching scenes with Gena Rowlands where, at times, he struggles with his conscience and allegiance to his friend. Nevertheless, Douglas escapes and the entire locals pursue. Douglas and his valiant horse outwit all armed forces aganst him as he ascends the mountains to freedom, leading to a terrifying, heart-wrenching climax on a rain-swept highway. The on-lccation scenes are sparingly shot, symbolically at times, never slowing the suspense. There are poetic moments and moments of stark violence, handled with deft assurance. One of those black and white movies that explores the grays as well, you sit in your seat it a daze. Then in a few moments you realize you were experiencing screen "realism." You just want to jump into the screen and run off with Douglas. A rarity. The classic.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great story and a great film
One of Kirk Douglas' best roles, and a moving film in all respects, well-acted by the superb cast. Contrasts the remnants of the "old west" personified by Douglas, with the "new" west of social activism, progress and consumer products, property--and most symbolically, highways that cut up and limit the open range. When the Old resists the New, the New must deal with the Old on its own terms: humor and respect, but ultimately tragedy, are the results. This movie deserves to be released on DVD as soon as possible!

4-0 out of 5 stars An Underappreciated Minor Classic
This semi-forgotten 1962 film is a small, lost treasure featuring Kirk Douglas as a cowboy who can't quite come to terms with the modern world. The excellent cast includes Gena Rowlands as the wife of Douglas' best friend, a woman who has little use for the old-world notions of either man; Walter Matthau in an underrated portrayal of a sheriff torn between his admiration for Douglas and his duty to track him down; and Carroll O'Connor in his pre-Archie Bunker days as a truck driver whose path unexpectedly crosses with that of the fugitive cowboy. The film has some quaint morals and notions, and George Kennedy is a bit one-dimensional as a thuggish cop, but these are quibbles. Overall, it's a tightly told and well acted story that neatly crossed genres, featured one of Douglas' most charismatic leading performances, and tackled the theme of old Western individualism vs. the System a good seven years before "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" plowed similar ground. Keep an eye out for it on DVD, because its beautiful black-and-white vistas deserve a new digital rendering. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweat!
I have been stepping for some time now and found this video to be clear and easy to follow with alot of basic moves. It definitely was a workout and I am drenched when I finish. The moves are not too complicated so a beginner could follow along but you also get a work out if you have been stepping for awhile.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still the best....
I haven't done my step in 2 years (replaced by the treadmill). I have so many videos -- all the Reeboks, Kathy Smith, etc.I pulled this video out to try my step again as a break from running/walking and I'd forgotten HOW MUCH I LOVE IT!!!This tape is still the best of all of 'em -- the drumming, the simple yet beneficial moves... an overall great workout. Intense Moves and the Power Workout (both Reebok) are also GREAT videos but much more challenging.Welcome back, step!

5-0 out of 5 stars The New Battlestar Galactica Meets Step Aerobics
This is my first and still favorite step video. It is a great beginner workout, with each step slowly being built up from previous moves. The video teaches you the terminology of step such as "repeaters" for 3 successive leg lifts.

5-0 out of 5 stars Renaissance Alpha Man
This movie remains my all time favorite western classic. I work with teen boys, teaching and training them in the traits and habits needed th be successful men.I use this film to help drive home my message. Clint Walker, as Big Jim Cole, epitimizes the essence of manhood. He exhibits honor, courage, compassion, integrity, strength, fidelity, respect, self reliance, love and mercy. As a family man he is the spiritual leader of his household. His wife, Angie, respects and adores him. He is unabashed in his love for her. His children love and look up to him. As a man he has the strength of character and courage to face an assortment of deadly challenges bent on destroyng him and his family. He engages his enemies with determined resolve, steady nerves and manly strength.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Family Classic
I grew up watching this movie with my dad.On Friday nights he would ask what movie I wanted to watch and I would always say "The Night of the Grizzly".There are a few scary scenes with the Grizzly but nothing to graphic. It's a story of a hardworking family getting through the rough times.A great movie for the entire family to enjoy.

4-0 out of 5 stars A family tames the West
This atypical "family Western" tells a story that was probably more common on the frontier than every cinematic shootout ever filmed.Former lawman Big Jim Cole (Clint Walker, best known as TV's "Cheyenne") inherits his grandfather's small ranch and brings his family to settle on it.His first 24 hours in town aren't promising: he learns that the ranch was originally won from a powerful neighbor, Jed Curry (Keenan Wynn), who still covets it for his sons, Tad and Cal (Ron Ely, Sammy Jackson); he has to use almost all his savings to pay off a loan against it; 12-year-old son Charlie (Kevin Brodie) gets into a brawl with some local boys; five-year-old daughter Gypsy (Victoria Paige Meyerink) gets "skunked"; longtime deputy and friend Sam Potts (Don Haggerty) gets cheated out of $10 by the young Currys and their buddy Duke Squires (Med Flory); and the ranch turns out to be a near-ruin.But Jim is determined: this is good land, he says; with their purebred bull Duncan, he and his wife Angie (Martha Hyer) will raise "some good cattle and maybe ten or twelve more kids."Then comes full spring and the awakening of the neighborhood nemesis, a huge grizzly bear known as Old Satan ("If that beast ain't Lucifer himself he's sure his first cousin," says banker Cotton Benson (Regis Toomey), an early friend of the Coles).Satan's first visit to the Cole ranch results in a dead bull, the panicked flight of Sam's beloved mule Becky, and the injury of the family dog Solomon.Jim and Sam go hunting and manage to hurt and intimidate the animal, but as fall arrives he returns and wreaks even more havoc, not only against them but at other places in the valley. Now the cattlemen put a bounty on the bear, which draws hunter Cass Dowdy (Leo Gordon), formerly a deputy of Jim's, who bears him an old grudge and yearns to see him "busted, flat broke, and beat."Read more
