5-0 out of 5 stars Still My Favorite
The film initiates with two small-time thieves, Honey Bunny and Pumpkin, who spontaneously decide to hold up a restaurant. The film then shifts to the story of Jules and Vincent, who are hitmen for the well-known and feared Marsellus Wallace, who is caught up in a deal gone wrong with struggling boxer Butch Coolidge.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome, everything about it.
Yes a bit strange but I loved this movie! My boyfriend and my mom recommended Pulp Fiction to me and now I recommend it to you!I loved how it all fit together but was in like 5 different chapters.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Film And Terrific Writing!
"Pulp Fiction is not an overrated film, in fact it is an outstanding film. There are quite a few reviews here, therefore, I will be short. Having seen 'Resevoir Dogs' and liking it very much, I was really impressed with Tarantino's follow-up of "Pulp Fiction."One of the things I really liked about this film, to name just one, was the different offbeat characters that Tarantino put into the film. From John Travolta, [as Vinny the nutcase with a penchant for killing] to Samuel L. Jackson, as Travolta's stone cold killer partner; these two characters alone made the film terrific.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Film, But Not For Everyone!
I thought "Sin City," was a great film. However, it is not for everyone. There is a lot of violence, gore, and scenes many will find sexist. If these are not the type of films you like, avoid watching the film. However, I thought the entire film was one hell of a weird viewing experience. I can understand some people not liking the film. [My wife for one]. But with all the different plots involved in the film, and the eerie and very strange atmosphere of 'Basin City' [where the surrealistic film takes place] I thought the film was highly original and worth the watch. A very good watch for that matter. There have been many reviews here, so I will skip the film' plot, however, there are a few things I would like to write.
5-0 out of 5 stars Blood for blood and by the gallons
Movie aside, this DVD set was great. There are two versions of this film to choose from on this DVD; the original, and a directors cut.I loved the new version with the added scenes (even though they aren't significant to the plot it's nice to be able to watch them). The additional bonus features are extensive, and Rodriguez's cooking class was also quite fun.
4-0 out of 5 stars One dimension, or maybe two
Rather than adapting the genre of cartoon to film, this movie adapts film to cartoon, as explained in the extra features part of the DVD. That's a helpful insight. What's best about the movie is the visual experience. The sparing use of color, the digital experimentation, the combination of human actors and cartoon backgrounds, the voice-overs, etc. All this is very interesting and seductive to watch -- and it distances the viewer from the appalling violence, making it much easier to take and much less genuinely threatening. I really don't think anyone will be inspired to take a gun to a mob from watching this film. It's ultimately a very sophisticated cartoon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Quite different from Volume 1 but also astonishing
The second part of Tarantino's martial arts epic is quite different from the first in many aspects. It begins with more revelations about what happened to the massacre at the small chapel and goes on with the revenge taken by the "bride". This time though the bad people have some nasty surprises for the heroine who faces the most desperating situation that you can imagine. I really enjoyed the flash-back to the heroine's training as a student of a cruel but wise Chinese master of martial arts and the fight with the one-eyed opponent had a very deserving and surprising finale. Bill has also some aces up in his sleeve but not the ultimate one which the "bride" applies in the end. A powerful and more philosophical film than Part One. The end is a triumph of love, as simple feelings of the kind that ordinary people experience, overcome and transform the highly trained killer.

5-0 out of 5 stars The secrets of Kill Bill 1&2
Ok,ill just inform yall on something but first for anyone whos seen the first and not the second well just so you dont have to wait any longer her name is Biatrix Kiddo,oh and just so you know i lied im not actually gonna give all the secrets i just told you what her name was so you diddnt freak your serlves out about it,anyways this one to me was some what better than the first(which was fantastic)when i saw the second kill bill movie at first i wasnt so sure if she was gonna have it in her to kill you-know-who and even though uma therman isnt so pretty shes an extraordinary actress i always loves how she got in to her character.well i dont wanna give to to much away well i think youll like this one a little bit better than the first
5-0 out of 5 stars Tragic Love Story
Despite all the violence, at its core, Kill Bill 2 is a love story. The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, is physically tortured during certain scenes in this movie. However, the emotional distress she experiences concerning her feelings for Bill is extraordinary. It is obvious she is deeply conflicted and confused. It is also apparent that The Bride and Bill share a deep bond despite attempts to kill each other. This is especially evident during her the last scene involving The Bride and Bill. This movie comes highly recommended. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic Tarantino..but too much for newcomers?
The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad are made up of five most deadly killers, led by Bill. There is O'Ren-Ishii as Cottonmouth, Elle Driver as California Mountain Snake, Vernita Green as Copperhead, Budd as Sidewinder. The main character is called 'The Bride', who is an Ex Deadly Viper, but quit because of pregnancy. On her wedding day on El Paso Texas, Bill and the gang showed up and killed all at the chapel.
3-0 out of 5 stars Just A'iight!
I borrowed this from a friend, my buddy Bobby Asslong, who is normally very keen in his reviews and referrals. But he missed the mark with this one.He called it a true classic, with the markings of an award winner. I call it, a bloody awful, overrated Shanghai extravaganza. Not bad, but certainly not as good as it was hyped.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not a big fan of the Q-man
What critics see as paying homage to the 70's film styles,I think is very shrewd copy catting.Be that as it may, this movie was a hoot to watch and David Carridine looks terrific for his age, he must be pushing 70.I never thought Uma was anything close to pretty, but she does have a certain vunerable toughness about her, so she was good in this role.Who really blew me away was Daryl Hannah, I thought the fake nurse looked familiar but I couldn't place her until I read the credits and saw her name, she was excellent and unexpected. She never had a part like this one, she should do more roles like this because she certainly shined in this movie.I thought she deserved more attention.Enjoy! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding And Unforgettable Film!
I liked this film when I first viewed it, [it was so different] and it still holds up great today. There have been countless reviews of this film, so I will be brief. When this film was released in 1992, it was new. The originality was totally different and the characters were hilarious. Since that time, the film industry have come out with many films trying to be similar. However, this one was the first. It is also one of the greatest crime-thriller-suspense films ever released. The characters and dialogue are unforgettable. Not only that, but the ensemble of the actors for the film pulled it off magnificantly.
5-0 out of 5 stars Quentin Tarantino's debut masterpiece
Never has such a movie with so much talking and so little action has given me such a rush like this movie. Quentin Tarantino's Resevoir Dogs is an example of the way movies should be these days. This movie doesn't get by with over the top action sequences and bloody fist fights like most other crime based movies do( don't get me wrong, there are quite a few gun fights in this movie) but instead gives us a well structured movie showing the aftermath of an almost failed diamond heist.
4-0 out of 5 stars Quentin's best film....great the first time...subsequent viewings, not so good...
When I saw this film, I really liked it.It was visceral, interesting, and unforgettable. It's a film of great style, but it's completely void of substance and has no depth. While you marvel at it the first time, subsequent viewings reveal that it is really a shallow piece of cinema, and hollow to its very core.It indulges in its violence, while pretending to have the characters care about each other. The "friendship" between Tim Roth and Harvey Keitel's characters isn't believable at all. There's merely one scene in which they look at the bank they're going to rob, make a joke about a chick, say "let's get a taco", and that's it.Now we're supposed to believe their friends, and that Keitel is willing to die for his friend. One would hardly think this would form a bond so strong. It's almost like Quentin said "ok, they have to have a bonding scene here", and he thought of the most generic one he could think of.The out of time structure is not especially original, as it has been done before (and much better) in Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America, Stanley Kubrick's The Killing, and Clint Eastwood's Bird). Some of the characters have that arrogant smugness that permeated many films in the 1990's as well. So, is it still good?Yes, you should see it once or twice, but don't expect to resonate over the years like great films usually do...

5-0 out of 5 stars Undeniable
Quentin Tarantino seems like one of the biggest f@#k-sticks in Hollywood. He always cameos in his films - playing the weed that he most likely is in real life - and loves putting so much apparent drivel into the dialogue that you wonder if you're watching an R-rated Seinfeld episode.Yet the bulk of the actors he chooses to deliver these sermons are so charismatic and talented that you're still thoroughly entertained while waiting for a point, if indeed one exists. And when that point invariably emerges it's full of unmistakable insight and humour, which makes it all worthwhile.5-0 out of 5 stars Pulp Fiction
This film does not need a thousand words to describe it is one of a kind all action plotting it is not a titanic were you can watch it once and then leave it you have to watch it two or three times as it is such a complexfilm with different stories all coming together at one time or anotherbrillantly directed by tarantino but you can't forget roger avary withhelping QT with the stories we all wish he would do as well as qt anamazing film made on such a little budget bringing back stars and includingsome of the biggest stars in hollywood is there nothing this man can't dohe reserected john travolta's career and what a powerfull performnce heplayed in this film i won't give to much away but voted one of the bestfilms of the nineties next to goodfellas this film is not to be missed. ...
