5-0 out of 5 stars Defining a generation?
`Clueless' is probably the equivalent of `The Breakfast Club' for the 90's generation.I went to school with these kids; sadly...I was one of these kids.`Clueless' is also one of the smartest comedies to come out in the 90's for it capitalized on everything that made teenagers of that era funny and stupid. The 90's was a much easier time. Now we have films like `thirteen' (probably the best film to come out in 2003) to describe life as a teenager...life today is just so much darker than I remember it growing up.
5-0 out of 5 stars Step In To Delight
Clueless is a thoroughly delightful film, this edition improves on it with excellent bonus features - all are good, but Fashion 101 is not to be missed.
5-0 out of 5 stars best teen movie of the 90's
I love Clueless. It's an amazing movie based on spoiled rich kids. The main character is Cher( silverstone), who likes to help out others in the school and likes to get her way. Dion is the funniest character of them all. I like her sense of humor.

5-0 out of 5 stars Goodtimes
Stoners, music, girls. 80's High school times in Cali. It takes you back to when vans were cool and the girls had way to much hairspray. Everytime I watch this movie Im ready to hit the beach. Good movie!

5-0 out of 5 stars A movie they would never make today!
This is a great film. But, sadly, it would never be made today. I mean, try to imagine a film in which a 15 or 16 year of character has an abortion and it is taken as just another plot point. (Compare this to Crowe's Singles which brought back the oh so convienent miscarriage, like something out of a 1940's movie.) Also, imagine a film begin made today which invests so much time in developing its characters. Yep, you can't. So enjoy it for what it is, a window on a lost world.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fast Times indeed!
One of the classic high school movies, Fast Times spawned a slew of teenage talent on the big screen, but no one was more memorable in this movie than Sean Penn as Spicoli.Amy Heckerling cuts out a slice of Southern Californian life from a San Bernardino high school that shows both honor students and misfits alike. While the signature moments belonged to Spicoli, there were many other great scenes such as the ongoing burger war in which Judge Reinhold finds himself on the short end of the spatula.Meanwhile his little sis, a seemingly innocent Jennifer Jason Leigh, experiments with dating and sex with an amusing pair of misfits, Brian Backer and Robert Romanus.Phoebe Cates tries to set her young prodigy straight but to no avail.Forest Whitaker even has a significant moment in this movie as the bruising defensive lineman who takes out the destruction of his prized car on the opposing team.Little did he know that Spicoli had a hand in it.But, it is the hilarious relationship between Spicoli and Mr. Hand (Ray Walston) that steals the show.Fast Times may appear a bit dated, but it hasn't lost any of its humor.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun!
Being a fan of the first movie, I loved this addition.I love Roseanne as the voice of Julie.Of course, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley are great together. Of course, sequels are never as good as the original but this one is definitely worth watching.

5-0 out of 5 stars Baby Talk 2
LOOK WHO'S TALKING TOO(the synonym of "also" used in place of the number 2) was theatrically released just before Christmas 1990,a little over a year after the first film was released. Now,there are two talking babies named Mikey and Julie, voiced by Bruce Willis and Roseanne Barr, respectively. Barr was at the time,a fairly new television star bearing her first name. She had broken ground in 1988 with the sitcom co-starring John Goodman, who would be a sometime movie star himself. Kirstie Alley and John Travolta reprise their roles of Mollie and James, now a married couple. This film introduces Mollie's brother Stuart(Elias Koteas). Stuart is an accountant just like his sister. James is not driving taxis much anymore, his main job being an airline pilot(as what Travolta does in real life). One night,Stuart shows up at Mollie and James' apartment. James believes Stuart is a maniac who is scaring Mikey and Julie. In another scene,James returns home to a gun pointed at him by Stuart. Stuart mistook James for an intruder or a burglar. "Why do have a gun in my house?",a somewhat angry James asks him. "There are kids here!",James then says. When James goes to bed he refers to Stuart as "Travis Bickle",Robert DeNiro's character in the 1976 film "Taxi Driver". James is fed up with Stuart's presence in the Ubriaccos' home and suggests to Molly that he stay with Mollie's mom and dad. "They'd kill each other",she tells James. This leads to a heated argument causing the Ubriaccos to briefly separate. In a later scene,a fire breaks out in the kitchen, extinguished by James. Mikey and Julie exit the building via an elevator. A thief breaks into the Ubriaccos' apartment and is discovered and captured by Stuart. Mollie's best friend Rona(Twink Caplan),who was also in the first film, was so proud of Stuart's heroism that she suggested that she and Stuart marry, since they've been romantically involved. In the last scene,James,Mollie,Mikey,Julie,Stuart,Rona and Mollie's and Stuart's mom and dad are all picnicking somewhere.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hysterical sequal, If you have kids, You'll Love It
Most parents will truly appeciate the nuances of this very funny movie. While some of the humor is simplistic, the humor is seen through the eyes of two children, so there is a need for an occasional poke in the ribs. For those of us who have had the blessing of watching our children develop, and have found the wonderful place in our hearts that only our children can touch, the humor rings true. Roseanne Barr delivers a surprisingly authentic and precious interpretation of the mind set of Julie, the younger sister. Bruce Willis is still quite convincing as the older brother Mikey. There are script problems with the adult story lines. It is very hard to believe that mom - Molly - allows a very dangerous person to take care of the kids. Molly's brother, while acted well, only rises to comic book stature. But you will want to watch this again and again, for the reason you watched the first time, to touch that place in your heart where you store the memories of your own children. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Problems with audio
This is a review of the DVD itself, not the movie (not sure why people seem to want to review the movie itself in this forum).
3-0 out of 5 stars Classier than film one
Although the original Audrey in National Lampoon's Vacaction was a really cute girl (I had a crush on her when I saw the film in 1983) Dana Hill does a fairly good bit replacing her here. Chase and D'Angelo are back in top form (especially D'angelo) as the Griswold parents. I love Mrs. Griswold's stripping scene she performs in fron't of her husband's camera. The European locations beat the scenes of Chicago and the southwest from film one in giving the 2nd film much more sophistication. Eric Idle is painful to watch (like he is in all his non-Python work) in an irregular series of cameos.

1-0 out of 5 stars Been there done that!!
I was in this film and I think it's pants. Rusty's dream sequence on the plane to London where he is in a "nightclub" surround by punks - that's me - 2nd punk on the left with a large red and black mohican, if you freeze frame you can actually see me!! Except for that split second there is nothing of merit in this dreadful sequel to a quite funny original. Rusty you just want to slap and Audrey you just want to drown.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Film That Speaks To You?
"Look Who's Talking" is probably my favorite film with Kirstie Alley, my favorite film with John Travolta (though "Grease" comes close) and my favorite film with Bruce Willis (though I'm not exactly a fan of his). It's funny, it's romantic, it's got some innovative special effects, a couple of car chases, and John Travolta even gets to fly a plane (which he must have really enjoyed at the time!).

Great movie. I learned languages can be learned early even before we can learn to walk. This is kind of hiralious, funny and laugh ( ). I never dreamed little children can actually communicate in a language that seem to have no structure just be lookng at each other. They seem to speak the language of love..what's this.

5-0 out of 5 stars What's wrong with people - this movie was great!!
LOOK WHO'S TALKING actually did very well when it came out. I think these amazon people take things too seriously or don't have kids, or have such stressful lives they can't enjoy any kind of humor these movies have. I even enjoyed it when it came out and i was still in elementary school. My mom enjoyed it, and she loved babies and everything that had to do with babies and kids. Parents would enjoy this movie, not all but most. I'm not even one of those "kid lovers" I like kids, but not obsessed or anything like many kid lovers are. But LOOK WHO'S TALKING is a simple comedy with many funny parts like when kirstie alley's voice turned into a devil voice as she went into labor, because of the pain. To me, and my mom that part was hilarious and many women could relate to that because giving birth is no picnic, especially when it's your first baby. I've never given birth, but i've heard the stories. Anyways, i also read many amazon people's reviews about how horrible look who's talking too was, i'm thinkin' what is wrong with people nowadays? That was a cute movie too, the baby girl was as cute as a button, and the acting wasn't bad. I dont understand that. And at the end when mikey took his baby sisters's hand and they walked, and you could see her wobbling, and that cute baby walk which is so cute words can't describe, and the song i got you babe added to the moment. What's not to love, that was an adorable ending all i could say was AWWWWWW!!! people need to lighten up, especially if you wanna be good parents. Try to enjoy life, and not take things so seriously. These movies were basically about that. All those little funny and heartwarming moments when your kid is born and starts to grow and learn. But LOOK WHO'S TALKING NOW i must agree with the others because it was horrible. It doesn't make sense frankly, the first two films were about talking babies, why go to dogs? I like dogs and everything buy WHY? It's almost embarassing to watch. Kind of absurd and yes the acting was horrific, and cheeesy script, and everything in the film was flat out stupid. What next talking furniture and appliances lol. But the first two are still great films, and john travolta is one of my favorite actors, and elias koteas who was in number two was funny, like he was in some kind of wonderful. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Night at the Roxbury
Where do I start, If you want a real good funny movie this is the one to buy. SNL was behind making this movie and it's a hit. Just mad them didn't make a sequel. If you loved the disco era then this will bring you back to those days. The plot is two loser brothers Steve(Will Ferrel) & Doug Butabi(Chris Kattan) THAT'S RIGHT WERE BROTHERS who just can't get anything right and are big dreamers. They plan there whole life around getting into the hottest night club and scoring big time. And with a series of lucky coincidents they reach their dream, bigger then they could have ever imagined.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious
This is one of the greatest movies ever. I can never get enough of this movie and the laughs it dishes out. This movie is a must see for all.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Night at the Roxbury
Prolly a love it or hate it..But a hillariously funny movie about two overly grown brothers who can't seem to move out of mom and dad's house, also work at dad's business showing up whenever they.Their main goal in life is clubbing and "acting cool."However their dad has different plans for them, well he figures the one son is a "lost cause" and wants the other "better, brighter" one to follow suit in his big plan. You'll laugh your butt off! ... Please ignore the review up top by the Amazon critic. This is one of the funniest comedies to come out of the 80s.I would liken it to fellow 80s alum Better Off Dead in its ability to take the absurd and make it not only totally believable but downright hilarious. My entire extended family has been quoting one-liners from this movie for 20 years. If you enjoy comedy for the sake of comedy, you will enjoy Johnny Dangerously. And remember...
3-0 out of 5 stars The nicest mobster movie ever
I'm only giving this 3 stars because personally I can't watch it very often at all, even though it is worth owning at a goodish price. Entertainmentwise, it is worth at least 4 stars. It's quite funny, not laugh-out-loud constantly funny, but very many very funny moments.
4-0 out of 5 stars Sure it's silly, but...
I freely admit that I'm not into "silly" movies.I didn't expect to like this one, but I was bored and the DVD was cheap, so I brought it home.I was truly surprised; this is not a half-bad flick.Sure it's silly, but it's entertaining, and it works as a spoof. This is a great movie to keep handy for Friday night veg-out time and for bill-paying, tax-doing, paper-grading nights when a little diversion in the background is needed. It's a keeper. ...

You'll laugh your butt off! ... After winning a tour package in a game show, the bickering Griswald family carve a trail of destruction through England (where they knock over Stonehenge), France, Germany, and Italy. Somehow Ellen (Bevery D'Angelo), the mom, gets kidnapped by gangsters, leading to a car chase that reunites the family, despite their differences. It's hard to believe that Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars "Dust"???
Loser brings to the screen the story of a college freshman who does not fit in well with his peers nor with the city of NY as a whole.
3-0 out of 5 stars Mildly Entertaining- Good Chemistry Between Biggs and Suvari
Although "Loser" is a solid effort and is generally enjoyable, it was certainly not what director Amy Heckerling needed at that point in her career. After the great success of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and "Clueless" she pretty much went in the director dumper with this one. Ironically the problem was not her directing but her writing. Solid production could not entirely compensate for this flawed screenplay because the flaws are in the characters themselves, they are simply not believable.
3-0 out of 5 stars Cute remake of The Apartment
I caught this movie by accident at a neighborhood theater, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that good old Amy Heckerling had remade one of my favorites, The Apartment, with a dash of Ridgemont High added here and there. Maybe I'm biased because I know and love both of these films, but my guess is that Loser can stand on its own. Or maybe you should do a little homework and watch the original. It can only enhance the experience. ... Read more

This film introduces Mollie's brother S
